I had a great experience at Advanced Eyecare Center of MB. I found them on the VSP website. Jubilee helped me make my appointment and explained my VSP benefits. Before I saw the doctor I was given a series of tests by Stephanie who was very pleasant and explained everything to me. I opted to have additional tests not covered by VSP that screened my retina, everything was very high tech. Dr. Hansen was also very nice and was very thorough. He took the time to explain all the test results to me and updated my glasses prescription. Finally Liz helped me with my glasses, they have a fantastic selection here in all price ranges. I got three pairs, my regular progressive, a pair for working at the computer (I do that all day), and a pair of prescription progressive sunglasses. I would recommend them very highly. Dr. Hansen and his staff were all terrific.

I went to the Advanced Eyecare Center of Manhattan Beach a few days ago because of blurred vision. The excellent and very friendly staff ran a standard batch of tests on their professional looking apparatus. They gave the results to the inhouse ophtamologist Dr. Wong who asked me some more questions and ran some further tests. When she realized that my blurred vision might have been caused by a neurological issue, she referred me to a neurologist. I think it is a sign of high ethical standards that the Eyecare Center did not primarily try to sell glasses or contacts. My impression of the Center was excellent. Andrea Stumm

Ten star experience with every member of the staff and the most thorough, caring doctor ever! I got an appointment same day, I think they stayed late for me. They repaired three frames I did not buy there and adjusted all of my other frames. Dr. Tracy Wong was sweet, gentle and explained all of the tests that were done. This is the best experience I have ever had at an eye exam and the best news is that Medicare covered all but one small test! So there is one advantage getting older!!

I was seeing them for a few years... I finally had to find another place. There were problems with the last two set of glasses I ordered that took abut two months to receive each and then the last pair didnt work. I had to fight to get a refund. But most importantly, I always felt it was about 10% check your eyes and 90% sell you some glasses. Maybe all places are like that. I guess I will find out when I find a new place. Too bad they are in a great location for me

I have been really neglect in the past about getting eye exams because I was always so dissatisfied with the places I had gone and the doctors I had seen. Dr. Chris Orenic is incredible. My husband and I both have been totally impressed. The whole experience of going to get my eyes checked has changed for the positive! The state of the art equipment is cutting edge and the doc always explains everything very clearly. I would highly recommend AEC!

Lost a contact lens while in LA on a business trip, stopped into AEC because it was in the building I was visiting, and less than 24 hours later had new set of contacts at a very reasonable price, a full eye exam using what looked like state-of-the-art equipment, all delivered by a friendly team from doctor down to receptionists/assistants. Ill come back for reading glasses on my next trip. Highly recommend.

Ive been going to AEC for about 4 years now and Ive never been disappointed. The Dr is great at what he does and explains everything so that I can understand. He uses state of the art technology and I appreciate that he stays up on changing trends. His staff is always nice and professional and he has fantastic choices in glass frames and sunglasses. I would recommend anyone go visit Dr Orenic.

The service was ok. I felt it was more expensive if you have insurance. The pricing was misleading and I felt there was fees on top of fees and the outcome of the frame cost was more like two pairs total from another retailer. Very dissatisfied. The frames were nice and the work was nice. I just felt so taken advantage of.

The eye doctors here are the best! Up-front and honest, genuinely caring... everything you could ask for in a health care professional. And the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and provide excellent service. I wont go anywhere else if I dont have to. Highly recommended!!

I had a 1:20 appointment. I was called twice and text once as a reminder a couple of days prior to my appointment. I showed up on time just to sit around for a half hour and no doctor. Not a place you want to visit if youre looking to be seen on time.

These guys know what theyre doing. A doctor on sight to examine you; designer frames and they can make them there. Plus the prices are great and you can barter a little if the owner is there. and they have parking on site.
