Similar to another reviewers experience, they staff was decently nice but clearly not terribly interested in their jobs. But theyre not the crux of this practices problem. The real issue is Sarah Ito. She wrote me an incorrect prescription for my glasses and then refused to take responsibility for it. She tried to get more money out of me to come in and recheck my prescription. Heres the lowdown - after taking Sarahs prescription to an optical shop and getting new classes made, I discovered that my new glasses were giving me headaches and nausea. I returned to the optical shop and had them check and recheck the prescription to make sure their lab manufactured it correctly. I found out that my new glasses were exactly the prescription that Sarah Ito/Visionworks had given me. When I contacted Visionworks to recheck my prescription, they said it was a flat $35 recheck fee. Ive never encountered this before. My optical shop was horrified that an optometrist would charge that to recheck a prescription. This went back and forth, then I decided that it would be worth my money and time to get a new checkup and prescription elsewhere. After all - you dont skimp on your eyes! My new doc found out that Sarah Itos prescription was indeed too strong. After paying for a new exam out of pocket and paying to replacing the lenses in my glasses, I can wear my new glasses without getting sick. Im also down $300, but thats the price I pay to take care of my eyes and to steer clear of quack doctors who care more about money than my eyes. I am seriously considering small claims court, but trying to figure out if it is worth my time and energy. So many frivolous cases clogging our system. Ive seen some reviews where people have had a similar experience as me. Please save yourself the time, money, and most importantly - SAVE YOUR EYES!

Dr. Sarah Ito and her staff are very friendly and great, they make sure you are being helped. I got an appointment the same day and I was a new patient. After two years of not having an eye exam I found out that a previous doc had given me a wrong prescription. Thank you Dr. Ito! The other good thing about this place is that they do not pressure you to pick out frames the same day. While I was in the office the lady at the front desk was kind enough to take pictures of another patient trying on different frames so she could send to her mom. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new eye doc.

I went to Dr. Ito because I was having problems with my vision. I would see double in the evenings after work. She fixed me right up with a very complicated prescription involving prism for a weak eye muscle. This helped me to avoid surgery and still see! I went to another doctor for this problem for a year with no results. He charged me EVERY time I went in for a new exam. I went in six times. The glasses I got were from him and he still charged me to remake. Dr. Ito got it right the first time and I have never seen better. Get the glasses from her. Nobody does it better. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Dr. Ito and her staff are the best. I am nearsighted and 40+ - Other eye doctors would correct my vision with contacts so that I could see far away, but that messed up my vision for reading close up. Dr. Ito figured out a prescription that allows me to see far away AND close up without reading glasses! Yay! For that alone, I am forever grateful to her, but top that off with a staff that is super helpful and nice, short waiting times and state-of-the-art equipment - its a really pleasant experience going here. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great eye doctor.

Ive been seeing Dr. Ito for nearly nine years and I couldnt be happier. She and her staff have consistently been professional, thorough and informative. After wearing glasses for most of my life because contacts were never comfortable, she helped me find lenses that work with my dry eyes, and provided treatment to moderate the underlying problem. The price of my contacts and non-prescription sunglasses have been competitive with online retailers, which was a pleasant surprise.

Dr. Ito and everyone at Visionworks is fantastic! I love the 21st century convenience--being able to schedule appointments online, receive texts and email updates about my appointment/glasses, and the ways that they keep in touch throughout the year via newsletters and emails. I wish every health care experience I had were as pleasant--everyone in this office understands how to be professional and caring.

They carry Toms (sun)glasses plus ray-bans and all the latest eyewear. Dr. Sarah Itos machines are all new and up to date (finally got rid of that nasty one that shoots air into your eye, yay!) so really felt like I was getting state of the art attention. Ito was also able to tell right away that Ive been using a prescription thats a little too strong for me which explains the headaches...shes great!

I went on a Saturday. There was a Fathers Day sale and it was a little busy. But I was seen promptly. I have a big head, so the selection is low no matter where I go. They have people who are friendly and helpful. No one really had any suggestions for me. I had an eye exam and I was seen promptly. Not much of a wait. A lot of staff for a tiny space. Maybe just for that day.

Dr. Ito, and her staff are very courteous, and professional. I feel that I was very well taken care of. All of my questions were answered in a friendly and precise way. I was given knowledge about my eyes and the effect that different health have on my eyes that I never knew before. I left the office with a very understanding and inspiring knowledge that I never had before.

Dr. Ito and her staff are nice people but they dont seem to know what they are doing. Nothing is ever ready when they say it will be and the last time I tried to get glasses there they couldnt get the prescription right. I finally gave up (at some loss of money) and went somewhere else where the work was done correctly.

This office goes above and beyond with their patients. The staff is well-informed, patient, friendly, and professional. The doctor takes her time and answers each question thoroughly (and I ask a lot). There is never a long wait. It is one of the best experiences that Ive had at a doctors office.

I went there once. They were okay, but not enough for me to go back. But now Ive found myself on some automated phone spam trying to get me to make an appointment. My one visit was years ago, and I still get these annoying calls. I dont even live anywhere near them anymore.

Dr. Ito is fantastic, and so is the staff at Visionworks. Ive never had a better experience in a doctors office - its always quick, and informative, and the office and equipment is top notch - I wont go anywhere else to get my eyes checked!

Kind people who are there to help you, work with your insurance and not to sell you eyeglasses. Dr. Ito explains everything so well, she is a true pro and her office helpers are excellent. I love this place and am glad to recommend it.
