This place would be awesome. Reason why I say this is that I made an appt well in advanced and I provided all my info and even created a patient portal as asked. Once I did, I made the appt several weeks in advanced and asked if my insurance had checked out ok. They said yes, its all good. I came in and they began my evaluation, during the consul, the Dr. suggested I needed an Xray as my foot was hurting from a fall I had several weeks before. Once I was in the Xray area, the lady who was processing my info. told me that my insurance wasnt compatible with their clinic and then they notify Dr. Foster. He was so nice but very embarrassed that in the middle of my consul he was forced to stop my examination and abruptly ended it by letting me know my insurance was an HMO and they werent going to be able to take it. He suggested I pay cash, but I didnt want to because thats why I have insurance and thats what my copay was for. I felt so upset, because I wasted my work day to come in and left with a little bit of confusion and a lot of disappointment, that this clinic lead me to believe my insurance was OK and then it wasnt. Dr. Foster felt awful about this and he said, "hey.. let me write you an RX for you nail so that at least you dont feel like you wasted your day here" So I said.. OK. About 6 weeks after my appointment I get an email from the clinic, when I opened it it was in invitation to log onto my patient portal, when I opened it, I was surprised to see that I had a bill for $170!! FOR WHAT!!??!!? I was so upset!! I got on the horn and the computer w/their billing, they took a long time to get back to me but after about 15 back and forth emails, Doctor Foster graciously approved a discount, to me, it wasnt a fair discount as I kept asking for an explanation of the bill, which they couldnt provide or give me. After another 10 back and forth emails, he finally agreed to bring my bill down to $85. I still think this was a total rip off and really their fault. I didnt get any of my medical questions answered and I feel like if they knew that quickly that my insurance wasnt good to begin with, why did they lead me to believe it was? I think this place can be great, but just be sure to check with your insurance providers before going here. You dont want to be surprised with a bill, like I was, when my consultation wasnt even completed and left this place with more questions then when I came in.

Great doctor, great staff. I gotta admit like most people I normally share only my bad experiences online and not the good ones but this clinic was so professional and caring compared to other clinics Ive been throughout the years (especially one in Santa Monica that I went to last year which Ill write another review about soon) that I had to let people know. I injured my left shoulder at the gym a few weeks ago and I really started to freak due to I had a previous injury but in my other shoulder (right one) last year which took a long time to heal and pushed me to visit some crazy doctor in Santa Monica who practically ripped me off. I really needed a good doctor this time, someone that I could trust and visit if I ever feel sick. I googled several doctors near home and I found this place and decided to give it a shot. I called this morning and they gave me an appointment for today, went there and after a detailed examination and an X-ray Dr. Foster gave me some peace of mind, fortunately I dont have a tear in my left shoulder and its just a mild inflammation which should get better by physical therapy and the right meds. At least I know what I have is not too serious. They have a physical therapy clinic just crossing the aisle and they also have an X-ray place next door, so it is very convenient. I just liked the way Dr. Foster explained the whole thing to me, he does take his time, he is very friendly and professional and the most important thing to me is that he doesnt have that unhelpful attitude "Im the doctor not you" that most doctors have, some tend to forget they are talking to human beings. They take most PPOs, I would recommend you to check with your insurance first if you have an HMO cause we all know how they work. I read another review here from a guy that complained about his HMO for not covering his visit but to be fair that is not the doctors fault. If you have an HMO is your responsibility to check if the doctor you are going to visit is in-network or out-network, thats why HMOs are normally cheaper cause they force you to visit who they want not who you want. Only down side is the parking but as the nurse let me know I could just park half a block away at Doheny and considering this is Beverly Hills parking is cheap.

Its a shame I cant give this place negative stars...I went to Sunset Walk-in Clinic in late January and got some blood work done and made a fallow up appointment for a month later. I decided to cancel the follow up appointment after emailing Dr. Foster because it was not needed. I waited several days for the lab results and heard nothing so I called the office and talked a woman named Lisa. Lisa said the lab results where probable ready but Dr. Foster was not available and I would have to keep calling back...She should have had the doctor call me with the results! I then email the doctor and the results where uploaded to the online "portal" with no interpretation from Dr. Foster. Im not a doctor, I didnt go to medical school...I am not qualified to interpret blood work charts. 2 and a half months go by and Lisa called me wanting the deductible to which I angrily explained why they have not received their money. I hesitantly agreed to pay for the office visit and ended the call with "am I going to get my labs explained to me by the doctor...2 1/2 months later I might add?" Lisa said she would let the Dr. Foster know, I never heard back. Today I received a call from Quest Diagnostic (the lab thats contracted with Sunset Walk-in that tested my blood) asking why they have not been paid, I explained the situation and told them they could sent the bill to the Sunset Walk-in. I then called Sunset Walk-in and talked to some very rude people who argued that I didnt get the results interpreted by Dr. Foster because I canceled my fallow up appointment that was set for a month after my original appiontment which made me very angry. Every other doctor I have ever gotten labs from has called me to tell me the results. I am extremely angry and I am going to spend the $25 for small claims court.
