Wish I could give this place zero stars. I am 6 months pregnant and have been having alot of teeth issues lately, and since I am pregnant my medical will cover dental until I have the baby. Western Dental is the only place I could find online that supported denti-cal. I went there to have a deep cleaning as recommended by my health care provider, and waited for an hour & 1/2 just to be seen and get x-rays taken of my teeth. Then they asked me to continue waiting in the lobby for about fifteen minutes or so they could place me in an examination room. I ended up waiting for over an hour to be seen again. Then they proceeded to take me into an examination room where they told me about my cavities and gave me a break down of prices and then continued to wait there for another hour & 1/2. When I started to complain (because I have been there for 5 hours and being pregnant I needed something to eat) is when they finally sent the dentist in to do my cleaning. He shot me up with 6 shots of Novocain and worked on me for about 15 minutes at the most, and then told me they didnt have time to finish the cleaning and that they wanted me to come back in for fillings. My mouth was numb for 4 hours after that... I could not eat let alone talk without drooling all over myself. It was a NIGHTMARE. I feel that they did this so that they can get a pay out from medi-cal without actually doing any work. I WILL NEVER go back to Western Dental, and I would appreciate if anyone else would let me know of any other denti-cal providers in the Sonoma County area. Otherwise, Id rather have my teeth fall out of my mouth then have to experience what I did at Western Dental ever again.

My mom has been going here for a while and we live about three hours away, all because unfortunately we dont live anywhere near a town or a dentist. They still had 5 minutes till closing and due to traffic we got there much later then we had anticipated. We walked in and saw that they still had 5 minutes left and told the woman at the front desk that we were here to pay a bill. She refused us service saying that they were about to close. I told her that we had come from three hours away all she said was "Ohhh, Im sorry." Then next thing I know they were charging us late fees because we didnt pay the bill when it was due. I made a complaint and got no call back. Worst place ever! Also I called their number and in the beginning it asks you "For Spanish press 1" I did and I still got someone in English!!!! I told her that I was expecting someone in Spanish and she was like "Oh! Let me transfer you to someone in Spanish." Then I was on hold for 20 minutes more. Total wait: 40 minutes. Shity!!!

Cause that is what you will be doing, waiting for up to two hours after your appointment to be seen, but thats ok as it affords me time to catch up on the sponge bob marathon that inexplicably always seems to be on. And you wont have to worry about missing an episode on your first visit as you have many opportunities ahead of you to sit in the waiting room being that they only ever seem to do partial work, requiring you to return multiple times. In my case I had to come in three different times for them to fill four cavities (yes I should floss :P) and they still managed to leave one they had drilled a few weeks earlier unfilled. New dentist for me :) no more sponge bob :( alas, the sacrifices one must make for dental hygiene.

Shi**y shi**y shi**y. Ive been trying to get my ONE! tooth fixed for over a month all ive had done is x-rays and best believe i waited 3 hours, every week they have a new excuse, come in tomorrow, come in next week, oh the doctor isnt here this week. Wtf so i asked, is he ever here? I dont care how close this place is to my house, i refuse to go there ever again. Do yourself all a favor an read reviews or at least take into consideration other people experience. F this place an the people who work here. This world is all about money, everyone deserves good health an some good teeth. How can i make u smile today??? Uh how about doing your F.ing job and stop treating people like their problems dont matter. >_<

I have been going to this dental clinic for about 2 years. I always found the long waits in the noisy crowded (ugly) waiting room unpleasant. But I liked the dentist; its only 2 blocks from my home; and they take my dental ins.; so I persevered. But 2 days ago I came to the end of my rope. After waiting an hour, one of the front desk receptionists couldnt understand what was delaying my appt. She disappeared for about 5 minutes and then told me I would have to wait another 20 minutes. The dentist I liked is no longer there (I cant imagine the assembly line atmosphere would be very pleasant for the dentists either). I walked out never looking back. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!

This office does okay dental work but is terrible to its clients, at least in my experience. Dont even go here for basic dental work or cleaning if you can avoid. They frequently tried to up-sell me on treatment and medical devices I didnt need, slipped an arbitration agreement into the standard paperwork (luckily I already knew CA law says you dont have to sign that to receive treatment) and gave me this way more expensive deep-tissue cleaning when the whole time I kept asking for only a "basic cleaning". All this on top of long wait times and a nightmare trying to navigate their systems in an attempt to fix the problems this office caused for me. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Ive been to my clinic about three or four times for afternoon appointments. After arriving on-time for my appointment, I too had to wait up to an extra hour or more while in the waiting room or the exam room. But maybe they have trouble earlier that causes them to get backed up mid-afternoons. From now on I will try to schedule early in the day. If I AM scheduled later, I want to see if I can phone them prior to that appointment and ask what my expected "wait time" will be so I can adjust to it. Im not sure, but I hope this may be helpful.

EPIC FAIL: Got an eval done and they wanted to do something to each tooth. My two front teeth which if anything might be a little stained - need a cleaning - they wanted to put a filling in because Medi-cal will pay for it. So lets give him what he doesnt need so we can get more money. ***CHOP SHOP*** seriously, there are other dentists that take medi-cal, they go hunting for people here because doing the right thing got boring.

I havent interacted 5 seperate days with this place, every day was awful. Low quality work and customer service. They really do no care about you at all. Please dont go. Terrible. If no stars were possible...
