So I ordered a seemingly innocuous pair of Ray-Ban eyeglasses from City Eyes Optometry. The initial estimate was 5-10 business days. No biggie I thought. I could wait. Turns out the glasses were apparently handcrafted by a cloister of dwarves in the hills of Tuscany. 5-10 business days turned into well over a month. Then the eyeglasses were stalled in customs. Turns out said dwarves might also be cokeheads. Granted, in the grand scheme of things, waiting for a pair of glasses is, at worst, a paper cut, but paper cuts are annoying. Of course, NONE of this was the fault of City Eyes. In fact, their staff could not have been friendlier and more understanding. They kept me up to date on my order and even allowed me to select another frame of my choosing. I chose to wait for these ultra-hipster pair of Ray-Bans. Interesting side note: When I wear em I suddenly become vegan. Anyway, my point is City Eyes Optometry is fantastic. Great service, great selection and theyre just all-around nice folks.

Ive been going to City Eyes Optometry for about 6 or 7 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. From the friendly and courteous front desk staff to the optometrists, all a delight to deal with. Last week I had my annual exam and again I left very happy. Never had a problem with insurance or any other issue. Over the years I had small repairs done (for free!), had bought a very low priced replacement frame (I tend to sit on my glasses), and gotten great advice on my own personal visual life time strategy.

I have fairly complicated vision issues and City Eyes always work patiently with me until my prescription is exactly what I need. I just picked up a new pair of glasses and they are perfect! Dr. Steinberg has been my eye doctor almost my entire life. He is extremely knowledgable and thorough and has supported me through lasik surgery, a torn cornea, numerous infections and allergies. He always takes care of me and makes sure I get to the right people for any situation. My kids love him too! And he always has the best frames to choose from!!

These guys only care about the money dont go in here unless you have like $500 to pay. I went in with my insurance card and they gave me the exam for glasses and said i would have to pay $125 for contacts when i said i cant do that. They gave me my prescription and sent me out the doors didnt even offer me frames.
