My first contact with Dr. Kim, occurred over a year ago, when our “primary veterinarian” with whom we have had for years refused to board our animal.  Our dog, which is a half lab/pit-bull mix (she looks more pit-bull to me!) is friendly towards family but growls whenever strangers come near her.  She has to be muzzled just for her to receive her annual vaccinations and check-up.   When I spoke with Dr. Kim and explained our circumstances, he understood and stated that they would gladly look after our dog!  To say I was elated was an understatement and have been coming back here since then.   We have boarded our dog on two occasions and they have cared for our dog and returned her back to us in good health.  Being that our dog is on the “grouchy side” they just make sure that she receives her daily ration and fresh water.   To the best of my knowledge, on the last occasion, the people who cared for our dog said that after a few days, she did warm up to one of their staff, which is encouraging because we have never taught any of our animals to be aggressive towards other which probably explains her “pit-bull” half!?   There boarding facilities here are clean and maintained to sanitary standards.  The location itself is another story….    “Dr. Jae B. Kim is a licensed veterinarian, providing care to dogs and cats of all breeds, shapes, and sizes for over 26 years!  Dr. Kim has extensive experience in all types of conditions and treatments.”   In conclusion, I’m very thankful for this place to take in our animal and look forward to give this location my business!

Thank you Dr. Kim for taking such great care of Tuey & Mandi. Over the years both dogs feel ill or needed surgery and you did an amazing job at helping both of them. Your kind, loving & compassionate to all animals that go through your doors. Your fair, honest and trustworthy always providing QUALITY CARE to my dogs. Dr. Jae Kim, California Dog & Cat Hospital was my parents vet and, he now takes care of all my pets. My family and I have been a client of Dr. Kims over the past 20 years, or more, and I highly recommend him for any/everything. Dr. Kim has saved several of our animals with excellence and compassion - I am settled when my animals are with him, as I know he will do absolutely everything possible to diagnose and treat them properly. I do not live in the area any longer; however, I drive to his location to ensure proper care of my animals. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kims character and abilities. Dr. Kim is a good man, and the best veterinarian. Thank you Dr. Kim! for all that you have done for my family, and for me.
