My 91 year old mother is being treated for wet macular degeneration at the Retina Macular Institute. Maison Optique Optometric Center was recommended by this iinstitute for an eye exam and a prescription for glasses. I was very impressed not only by the thoroughness of the eye exam by Dr. Tu, but by the way she was cognizant of all information and test results forwarded by the Retina Macular Instituute. Both my mother and myself agree that Dr. Tu is an excellent, caring doctor who put my elderly mother at ease by her manner and explanations of procedures. She made my mother feel that her opinions were important. Members of the staff are excellent; their work is a reflection of themselves.

I have been a patient here...this is a guess...for over 7 years? I went to Lens Crafters once. I never turned back once I came here. I forgot who told me to try Maison Optique, but ever since my first visit, I have not had the need to go anywhere else. I know what I say may sound trite, even rehearsed. Trust me it is not. EVERYONE in the place is super nice, and I always feel like they are going the extra mile for me. The doctors are outstanding, and their staff...dare I say I have a crush on two of them! Regardless of crushes, I recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I plan to drive my mother up from Buena Park so they can help her. If I have to grade Maison Optique, it is an easy A+.

Recently, I moved back to the area after being out of state for a number of years. When the time came for my annual eye exam, my first choice was to return to Maison Optique. The staff has always been courteous, cheerful and helpful. Both doctors are professional, knowledgeable and they thoroughly explain the exam process in a manner that is understood by the lay person. Their store is clean, neat and inviting. The optical store has a wide variety of frames to choose from with fair and reasonable prices. The order process is quick and efficient.

These guys are GREAT! Have been going to Maison Optique for four years. Each visit they seem to improve something. The staff is young, energetic, and knowledgeable. No pressure. Service quick and precise. Nothing hidden. Dr. Tamayo explains everything--makes scientific information easy to understand. I feel very comfortable with him and the whole staff. I have been going to Dr. Tu and Dr. Tamayo for years and have always had excellent service. Both of them are punctual and explain everything thoroughly. Furthermore, they have state of the art equipment. It is easy to get an appointment, no waiting in a lobby, and excellent service! Highly recommend.
