AFTER BEING A CUSTOMER HERE SPENDING THOUSANDS WITH MY MINIATURE DACHSHUND , HIGGINS, FOR SEVERAL YEARS, THESE PEOPLE REFUSED TO MAKE 15 MINUTES FOR HIGGINSS EMERGENCY WHEN HE WAS DYING. HE WAS DYING OF HEART FAILURE AND THEY REFUSED TO SEE HIM AND FLATLY REFUSED TO TREAT HIM INSTEAD INSISTING OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT I BRING HIM TO SOME HEART SPECIALIST THAT I DID NOT KNOW, WHO WAS 2.5 HOURS AWAY!! WHO WAS GOING TO TELL ME THAT HE HAD AN ENLARGED HEART!!! THIS IS A 14 YEAR OLD DOG AFTERALL!! I KNEW THIS ALREADY!!! I TOLD THEM REPEATEDLY THAT I HAD NO MONEY OR TRANSPORTATION TO GET THERE, BUT STILL THEY REFUSED TO HELP HIGGINS. I ASKED TO EUTHENIZE HIM BECAUSE HE WAS SUFFERING TERRIBLY, I WAS TOLD 9 AM THE VERY NEXT MORNING. THIS VET IS 35 MILES FROM MY HOME. WHEN I COULDNT GET THERE AT THAT TIME, I WAS TOLD THE ONLY OTHER APPT.WAS 2 FULL DAYS LATER AT 4:30PM. TWO WHOLE DAYS LATER!!!!!! IF A DYING DOG IS NOT AN EMERGENCY, THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!! WAS IT TOO MUCH TO BE SQUEEZED IN?? IM SURE YOUR OTHER PATIENTS WOULD UNDERSTAND AN EMERGENCY!!! I WOULD HAVE CERTAINLY UNDERSTOOD. HE SUFFERED FOR DAYS TRYING TO CATCH HIS BREATH WITH HIS HEART BEATING OUT OF HIS CHEST BEFORE DYING IN MY ARMS THIS MORNING!! THANKS SO MUCH DR. HAINES. I APPRECIATE YOUR NON CONCERN FOR HIGGINS!!!! THE VETS IN MENDOCINO COUNTY SUCK!!! ALL OF THEM!!!!

Vet misdiagnosed my cat, put him through brutal surgery, and my cat came out with the same symptoms he had when he went in. My cat was 15 years old at the time. They have no back office staff to care for animals when they come out of surgery, so animals just sit in little cages, alone and in pain; no comfort given when they wake up, no assurances of good humans. My cat still has same symptoms to this day.

Very well-trained staff. We love Dr. Haynes and the assistant, Todd. They both have great bedside manner. Our cats all love them. Theyre very upfront about all information and costs. The receptionist, Tracy, has a bit of an attitude. But, the rest of the small staff makes up for that with their awesomeness. This is the best veterinarian we have been to throughout Mendocino and Sonoma counties.

Dr. Haynes has been my go to vet for over 15 years in Ukiah. He cares for the animals and will work with customers to find affordable alternatives of care when funds are an issue. The office is simple yet clean and functional. The vet assistant Todd is great with the animals and customers and you can tell he really cares. Its nice coming to a familiar place that knows you and your animals.

GREAT HELP. Thanks. Got a last minute appointment for an urgent situation before travel. The doctor personally took a few phone calls for our follow-up concerns. Our dog is quite happy with all. The doctor was concerned and very compassionate to our furry little boy. Id definitely recommend. THANK YOU.
