I had a pet rat named Hershey... she became very ill and they care for small animals too, not just cats and dogs. During the exam she started gasping for air, and they rushed to put her on oxygen but it was too late and my rat died. No fault of the vets, they did their very best. They were kind, compassionate, and truly did their very best for my pet that I know some people would consider vermin. They gave me a nice box to put her in and later sent me a sympathy card. I would recommend this vet to anyone with exotic pets (turtles, rats, snakes, lizards, chinchillas) because most vets only do dogs and cats. You cant find a more caring and kind staff.

They say your animal needs intensive care or an operation only to get money from you two times i took my dog there the first time all i needed to give her was calcium (tums) and wouldnt tel me untill i insisted three hundred was all i had. This last week they said she needed surgery for obstructive bowel while the whole time was going poop she was intoxified by gasoline. I paid another 300.00 but they were wanting 1.500.00 they dont know what the hell their talking about but their real good about talking about putting your dog to sleep if i would have played in to their game my dog would be dead right now because of their inprofesionalism.

These folks are awesome. You can really tell they love animals; they are kind and enthusiastic toward every pet that comes through the door. The quality of care is the best Ive seen any of the places Ive taken my dog. All of the staff, not just the vets and assistants, are very knowledgeable about the different services, procedures, and products so you can figure out whats best for you and your pet. Even though she goes in for shots and nail trims, Ginger LOVES this vet. She gets excited as soon as we come in the parking lot - and if thats not a gold star of approval I dont know what is!

Passing thru on an extended trip, our Golden Retriever Grazie developed what we believed to be bilateral aural hematoma. Dr. Oliphant got her in first thing in the morning and diagnosed the problem as an allergic reaction, prescribing 3 drugs to resolve the problem. Great, caring, friendly staff. You can trust your best friends to this staff and facility.

They treat my dog like a king when he comes in, he loves everyone here. I have had great experiences with every person I have met there, and they genuinely care about my dogs health. While their office is inconvenient since I live in Eureka, I will never change vets and its 100% worth the commute to take him there instead of anywhere in Eureka.

The vet and staff were espe vertigo ally kind and helpful. I was short on money and they didnt do anything superfluous. They told me how to care for my pups wound at home to reduce further costs. I will be back here next time I need irregular care.
