I have been coming to this dental office for years... Before he gave referral to young kids my daughter also came here. Basically everyone in my family. I recently switched insurance and never felt so under mined by someone (Michelle) the receptionist. She kept telling me she cant verify my insurance. And they way she told me was like I was lying about haveing insurance. Then she told me I gave her my medical card not my dentist card. Everything in a very sarcastic attitude. But then doctor called: and she was like "yes doctor" "have fun doctor" "we are very busy doctor" 2 very different attitudes... So they couldnt verify insurance and we rescheduled. Well I get a phone call today, asking if I am make it to my appointment, well I dont think so since I got a text message from MICHELLE on May 26, saying she still had trouble verifying insurance. She claims she never text me. And always so rude on the phone, arguing with me. I asked to speak to someone else and told her I cant deal with her and I would take my business else where. Its very unfortunate because I really like it here. And have been coming here for years. I gave it 2 stars because of the customer service I was offered by Michelle... But Dr. Nguyen is actually really good...

Before finding Dr. Dat Nguyen I was terrified of going to the dentist. Not anymore! Everyone at Upland Smiles Dentistry is so friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. Nguyen is quick and efficient with all his services, he explains everything he is doing clearly and makes you feel comfortable and prepared for everything. I have been going here for about 3 months now, have had a cleaning and X-Ray, and cavities filled during two different appointments and every time I have experienced no discomfort during or after my procedures. Seriously the best dental experiences I have ever had. No shots, no harsh tools, no bleeding and NO PAIN. Love everyone on the team at Upland Smiles. :)

This is a great office! Everyone is so friendly! The parking is very convenient and Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable, caring and patient. Everyone took their time to make sure I was comfortable with the procedure and they have the most up-to-date technology. I really appreciated the appointment reminders and I was shocked when I got a text the following day from the dentist to see how I was doing!!!! No Doctor or Dentist has ever done that before! I couldnt be more impressed with Dr. Nguyen and his team and I have recommended them to all of my friends and family. I have been driving 50 miles from Irvine for these appointments - I like them that much. Convenient Saturday appointments really help too.

I have been seeing Dr.N for almost 5 years. I am terrified of dentist. I was sent to them by 1800 dentist. I have had many root canals, widsom teeth and cavities filled at this dentist. If you have PPO insurance they will do everything to accomdate you to get you the most for the insurance benefit. They will also recomend products to help you but they dont push these products on you. Doctor is sure that u are more than comfortable while anything is being done in the chair. They have great tools and Dawn is the best! The friendlist staff in town and def...worth my drive my North Hollywood.....It will be the best thing you ever did for your mouth!

As a new patient I absolutely loved my experience. I went in to get my wisdom tooth extracted and ever since I went in to make an appointment the service has been phenomenal. The receptionist is extremely nice and very genuine. Dr. Nguyens work is excellent, he is very efficient, quick and really put effort into making sure I was comfortable.The procedure went great! I would definitely recommend this dentist to others. Keep in mind that they use laser technology and everything was very updated. I have a PPO insurance plan which I do believe is generally what they accept beside of course cash patients.

I have a phobia of the dentist, that would make a 5 year old look like superman . so I have avoided it at all costs my entire life, due to my experiences as a child . Dr Nyugen and his staff are miracle workers. If I had them as my dentist when I was a child Im sure that my intense fear of the dentist wouldnt have occured! They are all so kind and understanding. I cant say enough good things about them! Parents please take your kids here, so they dont end up like me, avoiding the dentist for 15+ years, and now its really bit me in the butt, and now I need many procedures to just get back to normal!
