I was referred to this office for two wisdom teeth extraction. It took months of back and forth between the office and my insurance trying to be approved for any form of sedation because of a partially impacted tooth and a tramatic extraction of the first set of two wisdom teeth removal. After months of back and forth, I was denied sedation only to find out the day of the procedure, while listening to the nurses discuss my file, that whomever had written the notes submitted to my insurance, had neglected to inform my insurance of my impacted tooth. They told me that it would probably still be denied and that I could purchase other sedation forms not previously mentioned to me. It had to be out of pocket and the full amount up front. Because I was not aware of these options prior to my extraction date, I did not have the money right then. Going forward with the extraction continued to get worse. The doctor that did the extraction ignored my cries, literal crying, that I was in pain and continued to tell me that I was only feeling pressure. I am in my 30s and well educated, I know when I am in pain and what pressure feels like, especially after my previous extraction of wisdom teeth. He finally stopped to numb me again only after I was in full sob and about to choke from crying so hard. His bedside manner was horrendous and made me feel childlike that I couldnt trust myself to know what pain is. I can only compare this experience to torture. The entire process from numbing to everything extracted took about 15 to 20 minutes. After the extractions, the nurse handed me a prescription, but no medication was given on site. The numbing medicine wore off on the way to the pharmacy to have it filled. My husband called to tell them I was in a lot of pain and to see if they could help. They told him to basically keep driving and have the prescription filled. I do not understand why there is no medicine in- house to give to the patient to get them through getting to the pharmacy, the wait to have it filled, and the medicine to get into your system enough to begin working. At one point I thought I might faint from the pain. I would not recommend having teeth pulled at this office or any procedure that would typically cause more than normal sensitivity.

I had a great experience at this dental office. After getting pushed around by other dentist for nearly a year, I finally found Pine Dental Care in Chino Hills. I was scheduled an appointment ASAP for my surgery evaluation, and they quickly processed my approval for the insurance work. Dr. Abdolhosseini did an excellent job, and I highly recommend him for your general dentistry needs. Thank you.
