My past experiences with dentists have not been stellar: not enough gas during my wisdom tooth extraction, not being able to eat solid foods for a week after a cleaning, being left in the waiting room for 2 hours while the dentist goes home... My experience at Aspen Park Dental could not have been more different. Everything from making my appointment to walking out was easy, pleasant (as it could be), and comfortable. Making a reservation was painless, and they even emailed me my paperwork before my appointment. I arrived for my appointment 15 minutes early, was greated by name when I walked in, and sat in the waiting room long enough to barely pick up a magazine before going back. The decor was nice (very mountain-y) and didnt feel like an antiseptic hospital room. After not going to a dentist for six years, and seeing how nasty my teeth had become, I was beyond terrified. My hygenist was awesome. She made me feel comfortable, gladly numbed my gums, and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. They have these great LCD screens that show you all of your x-rays (done with low-radiation sensors in the chair) and photos of your mouth. They were down the day I was there, but I was able to see everything on the computer screen. My appointment went long, so an assistant polished my teeth, but she was equally as good as my hygenist. The doctor was very nice and made me feel 100% comfortable coming back to have two cavities filled. Heres the most important part: even though my hygenist told me that I would probably need painkillers for a few days, I havent had to take a single one (and Im a total wuss). My gums are slightly tender, but I had no problem eating pizza that night or anything since. Three days later and my gums arent even red. The only "complaint" I have is that the x-ray sensor that they use bruised my soft pallet a little, but was still better than the stretcher the old-school x-rays used. All-in-all, an excellent experience and I am delighted to have finally found a dentist Im comfortable going to.

I love this dental office. The office staff is friendly and accommodating, my hygienist is skilled and gentle and Dr. Higuchi is very skilled, professional and really listens to and cares about his patients. I recently had some cosmetic work done--2 crowns and two veneers. I broke my front teeth when I was nine years old and have had various cosmetic procedures over the years. I have never felt like my teeth were attractive or even natural looking. When one of my previous veneers chipped, I started looking around for a dentist that does good cosmetic work. I even visited a cosmetic dentist in Tucson, AZ, who has a great reputation. I was quoted by him and another cosmetic dentist in Denver $10,000 to do 4 veneers. I knew that I couldnt spend that much just to have a pretty smile, so I decided to just ask my family dentist to redo my teeth and hope for the best. Well, Dr. Higuchi listened to my concerns about my smile, picked the perfect color, and three weeks later, I have the smile I have always wanted! Beautiful, translucent, natural-looking, perfectly shaped teeth, with no ugly shadows or spaces! I could not be happier. AND the two crowns were covered by insurance. So, for $1,800, Dr. Higuchi gave me the smile of my dreams. Why go to a cosmetic dentist when you can go to Dr. Higuchi and get the same amazing results at an affordable rate?? I highly recommend him for general dentistry, and especially for cosmetic work!

I wanted to take a minute to review the dental practice that I am also extremely proud to work for! Having worked for many dentists over my career, I can absolutely assure you that Doctors Higuchi and Kubicek are the top in their field. They are experienced, caring, knowledgeable, completely honest, and view the mouth in both functional and aesthetic terms. They work extremely hard to give their patients high quality restorations. In addition, Dr. Higuchi has provided his staff with all of the latest cutting-edge technology and the newest instruments possible so that his patients receive the best possible treatment. The hygienists are wonderful as well. I have never worked with more caring and skilled hygienists! You wont leave with unanswered questions or a less than thorough cleaning! The assistants are skilled and kind. They have a true talent for their profession. The front office staff is effective and efficient! Amy and Connie are simply amazing at figuring out all of that complicated insurance stuff. Additionally, your privacy is respected at all times. And finally, for my fellow germaphobes, you have one less thing to worry about at Aspen Park Dental. The office is clean. The instruments are sterile. We perform all necessary disinfection, spore testing, and sterilization to keep you safe and healthy! If you havent found Aspen Park Dental yet, I would strongly encourage you to give us a try!

Today I experienced an amazing Dental Organization!!! I had waited way too long to get a wisdom tooth pulled and looked in my home town for a specialist for my needs and found Aspen Park Dental. I made the appointment to see Dr. Higuchi and staff! He told me he could pull my wisdom tooth right then and I Immediately locked up with anxiety and fear as I maybe thought today was an xray and evaluation for a plan of action. His wonderful staff calmed me down and assured me Dr. Higuchi was a gentle expert. I cannot tell anyone out there reading this ....HOW true this was! I really overworked myself with stress and fear of pain and they were so good to me! My painful wisdom tooth is out and I am happy and healthy. This office worked hard for my calming and successful results! If I could I would give every single one of them giant hugs for taking such great care of me I would!!!! Thank you Aspen Park Dental!

Dr. Higuchi is, hands down, the best dentist we have ever had. We have lived in many states (both of us were in the military) and have had the pleasure of going to many military and civilian dentists. Both Tim and I are patients of Dr. Higuchi and feel the same way about his exceptional level of care. Aspen Park Dental also has technologically-superior equipment setting them apart from other dental practices. There is little doubt this aids tremendously in discovering potential dental issues that older equipment just cannot detect as readily. Dr. Higuchis staff is top-notch. And there is one hygienist superstar worthy of mention...Darlene. We have not had any other hygienist even come close to comparison. We will miss her greatly. We are moving out of state and can only hope to find another "Aspen Park Dental."

Staff are great! Not so with Dr. Higuchi. He has been my dentist for many years. Somehow he did not notice I had a rotten tooth under a crown until the crown fell off. I have been x-rayed 13 times in the past 5 years with teeth cleaning every 3 months. My gums are red, swollen, and painful at the site of the rotten tooth. I dont understand how this could escape him. He is aware that I have a mouth full of other dentist work, though he told me he is not responsible for other dentists work. Does this mean he is not responsible for monitoring my teeth? Because of his SUBSTANDARD dental care, I have lost a tooth for which I have to now replace with an implant at my own cost.
