Dont recommend this hospital all they want is to rip you off. And put your pets though more pain. I took my dog her because my very vet was closed at the time that I needed my dog to be looked at and I didnt want to make my dog wait. So I took my dog here because she had a very bad infection in on of her anal glands and shes never had this problem so I didnt know what to do and I took her here. The vet didnt explain to me what she was really gona do and why. all she did was give me the runaround and it just sounded like she just wants to experiment with my dogs ass. So I left and by that time my vet was open and I had previously made an apt with them the day before just incase. Well, little did I know that this place called my vet and cancel my apt when I left. What gives them the right to cancel my apt. I did not ask them to do this, so when I talked to my vet about it he was nice enough to see my dog anyways and she was taken care of. Thank god for vets who actually care about Animas and dont just wanna rip people off and hurt Animas in the process. Long story short Im never taking my dog here again

Likely because they were absorbed or a part of the VCA, this clinic is tragically overpriced. I had a coupon for a complimentary first visit for TWO dogs. On the coupon there is no mention that both pets have to come in at the same time. I was told that they would honor the two pets so when I brought in my second they tried explaining that I could not do that. After expressing my unhappiness, the vet tech said she would talk to the vet and come back and let me know. The next person that came in was the vet. My assumption was that they were honoring the coupon. They were not. When I checked out and was told the charge, I questioned it. Dr Garner came out and basically challenged my version of events. The tech was dishonest in her version of the events. Their base price for an exam is almost double what other vets charge. Not only did I leave with a very bad taste in my mouth but I also feel I was disrespected and my version of what took place was in question. I do not recommend them. They are more concerned with making a buck then taking care of pets.

I took my seven year old cat, Louie, who has allergies, to VCA Park Hill. We had been there before and Dr. Blum was fantastic is treating Louie and discussing different methods to treat his allergies. I returned due to what I expected as another allergic reaction to something. We did not see Dr. Blum this time, and the vet we saw was more concerned with getting his teeth brushed and putting him on a hypoallergenic diet that costs nearly $70 for an 8 lb bag. After spending $100 for a visit and medication Louie is in the same condition as he was when I took him in. It turns out that the problem was a yeast infection in his ear, which should have been easily diagnosed by a trained veterinarian. When I complained about the lack of treatment from VCA, I was emailed the notes from our visit as if to prove that my pet received adequate care, and to discredit my claim. I would not take any pet that I love to this clinic ever again. It appears to me as if they are more about up selling rather than treating the matter at hand.

Puss in Boots is my first pet. He is a great 2-year old cat. I adopted him recently and wanted to take him to a vet to get checked out and all ready for a big move. I got this coupon and enrolled in a wellness program that included some handy discounts. The service was awesome. The attendants were really helpful about answering my questions and giving suggestions about lifestyle and pet health. My vet was also really cool. He told me about his cats and gave me travel tips and legit personal advice. Afterwards he followed up with a card and free tags. When I went in to get his teeth cleaned and a microchip put in, the entire staff was very cooperative and caring working around my work schedule and taking good care of Puss. Later they followed up with a call to check on his progress after the anesthetic. Wow, what a great place! Highly recommend the VCA Park Hill Animal Hospital!

The team at VCA Park Hill is outstanding-- were sad to be leaving them, due to a move. They always know our pups name as soon as we walk in. We had an emergency situation on a Friday evening and they made sure that they squeezed him in so we wouldnt have to go to a different vet and took us into the back so we could take a look at the Xrays and hang with our pup at the same time. On Saturday, while we were still monitoring his condition, we had a 30 minute conversation about symptoms and whether or not we should come back in (and eventually did). But they took care of us....always have. Their facilities are clean, their staff is nice, and they always have human treats (chips, drinks, etc.) ready to go. The ONLY down side is price-- theyre a little pricey and try to up-sell you (but you should take control and just tell them No) Overall, I would recommend them.

I rescued a 4 year old Rottweiler who had several issues. After speaking with the vet at the adoption agency he stated a Rabis shot was the only service needed. When I went to VCA they were competent and professional, but by the time I left, the bill was over $225.00 when I was quoted a $20.00 fee. When I questioned all the extra charges, they stated I agreed with all the extra service. Then a month later, they called stating a "booster" shot was required. I think they do provide a good service, but they take advantage of "senior citizens" and push services not necessary and their prices are much too high. Now I see how they afford such a spacious facility and so many employees.

Ive been taking my cat to see Dr. Garner for a few months now, and she is great. Not only does she provide compassionate, comprehensive care, she is also very frank about the services she provides and makes sure I understand treatment options. Ive noticed a few people commenting on VCAs prices being steep, but my bills have all been along the national average for those services according to what Ive researched. Scheduling appointments is also easy, and Ive never had to wait long to be seen. All in all, Ive been really happy with the treatment provided for both my cat and my dog.

I love VCA Park Hill. I know that many people think its expensive, however, they have been nothing but good to my family and our pets. From having to put down my husbands cat, dealing with my delicate constitution Shi Tzu and on to my one eyed Lhasa with arthritis. They are very helpful and answer all my questions. JB even orders our pet food for us once a month - without me having to call him. The doctors are wonderful but for me, the customer service is exceptional and thats why we keep going back.
