I went into Belleview Chiropractic twice this week for some knee tendon/hamstring tightness. My first visit was the usual: 15 minutes on the roller beds, some x-rays, and an adjustment. I found it odd that his adjustment was entirely centered around my back/neck and the x-rays they took were of my spine and neck since I went in for a hamstring issue. He didnt do any work on my hamstring or suggest any stretches/exercises for it. Just told me to ice. I was told Dr. Gibson needed time to review the x-rays before he could come up with an accurate treatment. Understandable, I suppose. Second visit started with another 20 minutes on the roller beds. They have you lay on these instead of waiting in a regular waiting area. They do feel nice but since I wasnt having issues with my back I didnt see why it was necessary. Dr. Gibson then proceeded to walk me through the x-rays they took earlier in the week and suggested a 28 visit treatment plan. 28 visits x $25 co-pay every time is a grand total of $700 out of pocket, not to mention however much he is billing my insurance for each visit as well. He gave me another adjustment which was again centered around cracking my back/neck. Once again, no work at all on the problem area: my hamstring. He also told me that the next time I came in he would give me some exercises to do for the hamstring. Why couldnt he give me them while I was there? Most likely because he wanted me to keep coming back so he could bill me and my insurance again. I have been to loads of chiropractors over the years and I have seen an increasing number that give you some absurd "corrective plan" that is basically their way of sucking as much money out of each patient as possible by telling you that you have to come back 20-30 times over the next couple of months in order to fix it. Beware.

I am an out of towner visiting Denver for a couple weeks and had sprained my lower back. I Googled chiropractors in the area and found an assortment of chiropractors to choose from. I decided I wanted to go with one that had a website, information on the chiropractor (s), and one with raving reviews. After reading several, I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Donald Gibson of Belleview Chiropractic. It was no wonder his practice had the many 5 star reviews I read about. The facility is clean, professional, and tranquil, the staff, Gaylen and Sharee, were personable and very friendly, and Dr. Gibson did an excellent adjustment on me. I was given strips for my back and an ice pack to lessen the swelling. Im feeling much better as I type this. For any out of towners, like myself, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gibson and Belleview Chiropractic for your chiropractic needs.
