DO NOT GO HERE! VisionWorks is the most unprofessional and inconsiderate establishment I’ve ever been to, with doctors that DO NOT CARE!! I called because I needed to set up an appointment for contacts. They had multiple openings the next day and now I know why. When I called to ask them 2 hours before I needed to leave to get there, what items or documents I needed to have with me, I was phone shuffled from person to person. The phone shuffling eventually ended so that I could sit on hold for an additional 19:11 minutes. I then hung up and called back, just to sit on hold for another 11:25 minutes before getting an answer to what should be a pretty standard question. After getting the information and printing out what was needed, I headed there. Due to my late start I was caught in traffic, so I called to say that I would be a little late and asked if it would be a problem. The receptionist said No, it would not. When I arrived she proceeded to inform me that since I was late the doctor said I’d have to reschedule. I asked the receptionist to at the very least have ask a doctor to come speak with me since the reason I was late was because they had me on hold for over 30 minutes. Of all the doctors listed to work there… None of them had a minute to spare: Alan R Soll, Duyen T Nguyen, Richard S Yang, Shana R Levy, Tuleen Alam, Mary E Sezer, Allan N Brull, Shahrzad Nejabat, Shruti R Patel, Iva Nosi, April V Wellons, Amy W Thoren, Susannah L Neff, Shana R Levy.

I have gotten glasses and contacts at this location for the past several years, both for myself and my teenage son, and have been consistently pleased with the value and service. The two opticians presently on staff both do a good job, are patient in explaining options, and will work with you to make sure you are satisfied. My most recent visit was to get a pair of no-line bifocals, my first experience with bifocals of any type. When I got them, I ended up feeling that the bottom (reading) part was not strong enough, so they remade the glasses for free, no questions asked, and they did not charge me for a second optician visit to adjust the bottom prescription. Most glasses are made in the store and are available in an hour. However, my no-line bifocals had to be sent out, and I waited two days for them the first time, and ten days for the free remake. This wait was a minor inconvenience, but I was very pleased with them once I got them. Another pair of computer glasses I got at the same time were ready in an hour. They have a good assortment of inexpensive and designer frames. I have also gotten several other pairs there, including prescription sunglasses, and my son gets his contacts there. The price I pay for glasses is less than half of what a comparable pair would cost at an opticians office. All in all, I am very pleased and would recommend this store to anyone.

Short version: They got me in quickly, but I was lied to twice and the hassle hasnt been worth it. long version: Pros: They had a same day opening for an eye exam. They eventually got me glasses... sort of (see below). Cons: Experience felt very rushed and didnt feel like they tried to get me the right prescription, just good enough was what they were going for (the second doctor I met with said since my right eye was good I dont need to wear my glasses) On both of my experiences here getting lenses (the second to deal with the fact the first prescription wasnt didnt fix my vision) two different employees looked me in the eyes and told me that my lenses "will only take a couple of days to get in. It wont take the 10 days." Lies, outright Lies. The first pair took the full 10 days to get in. after putting them on I told them my vision was still blurry and they asked me to give it a week for my eyes to adjust. after 7 days I went back because my vision was still blurry. Today is day 9 of waiting for the second set of lenses. So as of the day Im writing this, Its been 26 days since I walked in the door and I still dont have the glasses I need.

Terrible customer service! Took my son in for contacts exam, paid for exam, ordered the contacts, paid for contacts and THEN was told it would take 2 weeks. I told them my son had a few soccer games coming up and would really appreciate if they would give him a few pair just to hold him over and was denied. At this time I asked for my script and went to Costco to find out if they has something in stock. They did not have them in stock, but I ordered them because they guaranteed delivery by Tuesday night....just in time for my sons game...AND $40 cheaper!! The story does not end here. I decided to go back to the store to cancel the order and be reimbursed. To my surprise I was told only the manager can do returns. I asked them why is it that they are authorized to take my money but not give it back. I also asked them, what if the manager was on a long vacation, how would I get my money back. To all of this, I just received blank stares. I would have receieved a better answer from a monkey. I will never do business here again!!!

Ive went here the last couple times I needed glasses but this last time was the worse (Feb 2011). The optometrist, a middle aged brown haired woman, had no clue how to give an eye exam and my lenses ended up being way too strong when I got them. Plus this chick tried to tell me it didnt matter if my eyes went bad from here on out. Im still young... not like Im some old woman with cataracts or old eyes. Then when it came time to pay for the glasses it turned out one pair was $200/ $300 when they advertised 2 for $100 or whatever the deal was... it was a while ago. All I know is I thought I was getting 2 glasses for $100 each and the girl tells me.. oh the lenses and exam cost $100 - $200 its just the frames on sale. In the end I ended up with one pair of $270 glasses that were waaayy too strong to wear. I wouldve took them back but couldnt get back to the store months later bcause of personal reasons. Last time for that... no more moola $$$ from this chick.

The staff was rude and uninformed. I felt like I was being passed off from one incompetent person to another. They left me standing in the hallway with no direction as to where I should proceed. Even the doctors directive was to wait and someone (he wasnt sure who) would be able to help me with the next process. I was given no temporary or sample contact lenses to try out. It was only after asking for my prescription that the girl informed me what lense the doctor had decided to prescribe. I had to ask 3 times for a copy of my prescription, which was written down incorrectly and I had to ask that they copy it correctly. One staffer was too busy playing tetris on her iphone to be able to answer a question regarding my insurance coverage. When another staff member mentioned her behavior and the fact that I was standing behind her she said "So, I didnt say nothing bad about her." I will never use this office again.
