Visit at aspen was far from pleasure. I showed up there as an rmergency with a infection which was very painful. Except of taking care of my pain and the tooth that was causing it they wanted to check my gums and other teeth if I need any work. At the end they said they cannot do anything because they had to kill the infection first prescribing pain killers, that didnt help, and antibiotics, which turned out were not strong enough. My infection started on Monday and the pain lasted util Thursday. By Wedensday the pain was so agonizing they I called and went back to pull the tooth. They took me in around 4. I was waiting for a while in agonizing pain. After they said my blood pressure is to high, 145/94, I never had a high blood pressure. They prescribed oxicodine for pain, gave me a piece a paper to check with my primary Doctor. I monitored the blood pressure myself which at home went back to normal. On Thursday the same thing happened. They measured the blood pressure 3 times with 3 totally different results so I was sent home. I was in such agony on a way home I stopped at the doctors and showed him the paper and and he said that because of the infection and pain the blood pressure was raised. Then I stopped at a normal dental office and wishing 1/2 hour the tooth was pulled, infection was cleaned and finally Im without pain. Seemed like Aspen is just there to make money not take care for their patients.

While the office visits were fine, their management of accounts was awful. More than once they did not charge my insurance properly and sent me bills for amounts that I did NOT owe. And while there, I paid for the amount of anything that the insurance did not cover. On my last visit they claimed I owed money (despite my insurance covering it) and when I disputed it I was told that I was right and my owed balance was actually zero. 6 months later I get a letter from a bill collector claiming I owe them an large amount of money. When I called about it no one answered (this was during business hours) so I left a message. Two weeks later and still no contact back. When I finally get a hold of someone on the phone they claim that it was from a service I ALREADY PAID FOR. When I tried to dispute this, I was told too bad, its what I owe and theyll send an item account. Horrible business. Not once in the two appointments after this supposed procedure did they tell me that I owed money, nor did I receive any sort of bill in the 6 moths after. I will not being going back to this location.

I neglected my teeth for years and was scared to go and see all the work I needed done, not to mention how much it would cost. From the moment I walked in to Aspen dental I was greeted warmly. I was able to fill my paperwork out via their website and barely had to wait to be seen. As I was a new patient I needed xrays and the technician made me laugh and feel relaxed. I was seen by Dr Y, who is detailed, knowlegable, informative AND kind. After he went through each tooth and assessed my mouth I was seen by Jim the office manager to talk finances for my findings. The price was so much less than I expected and he listened and catered to my concerns and needs. The experience was phenomenal for a over due dental appointment. I have several more appointments scheduled and came from one today! Dr Y has magic hands and novacaine from him is a breeze! (coming from a total fraidy cat) PS .Crystal is the best, she will be the one who sets up your appointments. She always leaves me walking out the door with a smile!

Im giving 3 stars for the staff. They were friendly. The Dr. was a little rigid and didnt really explain much to me. Im upset because after an insane quote on what was "necessary" to be done, I got a second opinion and it was less than HALF the price for all of the same treatments! Aspen does this weird thing for deep cleaning where they say its necessary to do it two times and they bill out per tooth?! the dentist I went to didnt do that and was able to do my deep cleaning for one price, one time and my mouth feels 110% better. Also the special toothbrush Aspen has for $150 my dentist sold me for $79 and it came with the 5 brush heads, full size toothpaste and full size mouthwash plus some other extras. My suggestion if you dont have insurance like me, go to get more opinions or youll be robbed.

First let me say my husband had extensive dental work there without any problems. I will never go there again because while I was pregnant I was kept waiting for 1hr for a routine cleaning and then the hygenist literally argued with me that it was my fault for taking a phone call after waiting for 50 minutes. The hygenist refused to back down, no one took responsibility for the fact that another patient was mistakenly put ahead of me, and the dentist ended up cleaning my teeth instead of the hygenist because she was took upset to clean my teeth. There is too much competition out there for this unprofessional behavior to be tolerated. Seriously, the hygenist was YELLING at me in front of patients and the doctors and she refused to clean my teeth.

First of all I would like to state that Dr.Y is not unfriendly!! He does have a somewhat dry sense of humor but then so do I,I have actually made him laugh a few times,he is an excellent Dentist and a true professional!!! My complaint however is with the office manager Jim,this person has never called me when the nurse or any other staff said he would,in fact he has never called me back, not once and I have called numerous times to make appointments and discuss finances! I even wrote a personal&confidential letter to Dr.Y that I never received a reply to,all this begs the question, why will the office manager not contact me,especially since I never met this guy???? Very sketchy!!!!!

I cant understand the negative reviews for Aspen Dental of Bristol,I have been there several times and have only experienced positive dental care,I have found the staff very friendly and professional.Dr. Y has excellent dental skills and always has time for my questions,I found him to have very good bedside skills.Josh the manager was very helpful with my concerns for payment and worked with me.I would recommend the bristol office to anyone needing dental work,I have had friends who have gone there and have been very satisfied with there work.I see on the negative reviews no signed their name.

This place was disappointing in every way. Rude employees, and painful dental work, then to top it off one visit I was numbed with novocaine and started to be worked on then was left in the chair for over a half hour while the dentist fully took another patient and "forgot" about me until I got up to leave. When she saw me leaving she came over to finish up, I had to have the shots in my mouth again because at this point the numbness had completely warn off. I agree, stay away from this place.

Went there after changing insurance for eval. Staff OK, Dr. unfriendly. Eval was to pull a few teeth and get a partial. Decided on a 2nd opinion & went to Dr. Mamaghani in Farmington. Turns out I had a large cyst in my upper jaw that Aspen missed. Would have lost 3 more teeth if not removed. She also saved 2 teeth Aspen wanted to pull.
