I am a mother of 6 and can not recommend Dr. G or any of his offices high enough. The staff at IMC is always top notch and the idea of integrated medicine is outstanding. They manage my husbands chronic pain, my nutrition, and my teenaged sons physical therapy. Dr. G caught a heart condition in one of my sons that no one had ever found, and my husbands debilitating back pain never felt better than it did under IMCs therapy regiment. My other son recently broke his wrist and has had a lot of pain in recovery, and IMC went above and beyond in their coordination of care with his specialist. From what I understand, because of their strong mission of doing good for the community, they are one of the only offices in that area that accept medicaid. Dr. G is an honest, sincere, and kind physician. The only negative in the clinic is that it can sometimes be hard to get an appointment, and even harder to get a hold of Dr. G-but when you do you get in touch you get first class care. They are also very good about getting in touch ASAP during emergencies.

Absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews! Have not had anything but good experiences with this office and Dr. G. He is extremely knowledgeable in the medical field. He takes the time to check on all medications you are taking to make sure nothing adversely interacts. Dr. G. takes more than adequate time with us; so unlike so many other doctors today! No doctor or specialist was able to control my husbands blood sugar, not even with prescription meds, until we met Dr. G. It has been under control with potent vitamins and chromium supplement for the past two years which is fantastic since my husband has a lot of problems taking prescription meds! Would highly recommend this doctor and his staff (which weve been doing since weve gone to him)! Even though Dr. G. does not participate in the insurance program we are covered under, we continue to pay out of pocket to go to him as we have so much faith in his care.

Unfortunately, I cant recommend Dr. Gerstenfeld as a doctor. He always appears very unprofessional and not knowledgeable. During a discussion on medications, he was absolutely clueless and was giving wrong information. I had to correct him myself about various aspects of certain medications. I tried him giving him more chances, but he is impossible to get a hold of and doesnt follow up on emails or phone calls. Dr. Gerstenfeld kept talking about his side projects and accomplishments, and seemed very arrogant, disinterested and overall, extremely impersonal. I would look elsewhere before going to this office.

I have been treating with Dr. Gerstenfeld and Integrated Medical for almost 8 years, and I have nothing but the highest praise for the professionalism, courtesy and responsiveness of Dr. Gerstenfeld and his staff. In addition to his clinical skills, Dr. Gerstenfeld also possesses that rare trait of compassion and will go above and beyond to spend time with the patient and explain all available options. I am baffled as to how any person could write any type of negative review regarding Dr. Gerstenfeld or his office, unless there was some type of hidden agenda.
