Wish I could give zero stars..if youre thinking about using Dr. jacobsen as a doctor take a couple things into consideration. 1. Are you rich and willing to dish out hundreds of dollars? 2. Are you looking for a doctor who cares? 3. Do you feel its necessary to be able to contact your doctor and have him return your phone call in a timely manner? If so I can tell you and many others as well that he does NOT care about you. He cares about your money. Plain and simple. He will charge you extra for using a credit card too. If you have money to throw out the window pay $150 dollars every week to see him. (He doesnt do monthly visits only weekly) then go ahead! He will tell you that you can call him anytime - even give you his personal number. He wont pick up your calls and if he does hell tell you "sorry theres nothing I can do Im not in the office". He is also very sick - his health is deteriorating he most likely will not be a doctor for much longer. Consider that before going to him. Countless times he told me I could call him at any time for any concern and would turn around and either not answer or tell me he couldnt do anything for me from home. If you leave a voicemail he will not return your call. Lastly and more importantly he pulled me off medications that could cause me to die. Did not taper me or lower the dose. After consulting with the ER (yes I ended up in the ER under his care due to him pulling me off various medications without warning) I had a seizure. I was told that he is a doctor that has done this to several patients. Hes a horrible person and doctor. He does not care about his patients and has broken doctor/patient confidenality HIPPA laws. If you want a great doctor who doesnt charge you ridiculous amounts and actually cares about you try his partner Dr. Ahuja. Dr Jacobsen is the worst doctor I was ever under the care of. I regret giving him a dime. He almost caused me to die! He needs to lose his license - he is a drug addict himself and uses morphine because he is sick. Hes not in his right mind. Hope this helps someone so they dont make the mistake of using him as a doctor. Theres plenty of other more attentive, caring & afforable doctors out there!

Dr. Jacobson was great. I walked in to get a bad cut stitched up and I hardly waited at all. The young woman at the front desk was very helpful and walked me through all the paperwork I had to do since I was using workers comp (which was also great that they took workers comp). I was seen very quickly and the cut was cleaned, stitched and bandaged in no time. When it was time to get the stitches removed I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Dr. Jacobson was very friendly and talkative and made the experience a pleasant one.

Dr. Jacobson is a very accommodating, knowledgeable, compassionate Doctor. His beside manner is 5 stars with a bit of humor. He is attentive to all his patients, bending over backward to help them all. Even if it means staying before or after office hours. Truly, he is one of the best doctors in Fairfield County.

Doctor Jacobson was rude, did not listen to my complaints as his patient, did not provide privacy during the appointment, ordered tests without my approval only to receive the bill for them six months later, having never provided me with the results from said tests.
