Tried to call Dr. Bivonas office to get a referral for Senior nutrition for an elderly relative who is a patient of his and was trying to do this from far out of town. I had called about this three weeks ago and they said they would handle it, but I never heard anything more. I found on calling the social services organization that the referral was never received. The contact at the doctors office I talked to to follow up was unable to help me because it was too long since the patient had been seen, which I understood. However, she was also incredibly rude to me, and was heard by my daughter who also was shocked at her comments. Left me in tears. Fortunately the relatives specialist will handle the referral and the social service was most helpful.

Been trying to get the doctor on the phone for last 3 weeks.. 7 calls to the office so far but no luck yet. Edit 8/23/16: The staff gets zero stars. Especially the lady in-charge of prescriptions. Shes incredibly rude and doesnt want to do her job. Been trying to get her to Fax a prescription to the pharmacy for 4 days now... dont understand why its so hard.

Called up just now to seek an appointment as one of my friend has refered me to Dr. James. The receptionist was extremely rude and had no courtesy on how to speak with a patient. She hung up the phone without listening the complete issue. A good doctor with a extremely bad staff to manage the patients.
