AristoKatz is the best!! I found them on Fairfield Patch, and have been so happy since. Love, love, love them! They have a brand new facility in Fairfield, and treat your cats like members of the family. Dr Geri and Emilee make my cats so comfortable, and help them relax during what used to be a stressful visit. A cats-only vet is also very important, because the visit can be so stressful on them to start with. No more worrying about dogs roaming around the waiting room, trying to stick their faces in your cats carrier while clueless owners look on. We had a cats-only vet we loved in Glastonbury, and I was afraid Id never find one down here, so I am so happy to have found them! I should also note that theyve cost about half as much as our old vet (Schulhof in Westport), and the quality of service is infinitely better. They also do house-calls if you request one. When our 19yr old was suffering from kidney failure, and we had to make the decision to put him down, they came to the house to do it. He was in his favorite spot surrounded by his family, completely peaceful and comfortable. It made an incredibly hard time so much easier for us knowing he was in good hands. Thank you so much for opening in Fairfield, Dr. Katz, youre the perfect vet for us and our cats!

Unfortunately, I did not have a great experience here. My cat was there for shots and a wellness check up. After doing the exam she felt that she may need to do x-rays because his stomach felt inflamed. I was very upset about it, because I had previously lost a cat to cancer and had found out about it the same way. I simply received a yes or no question... Are we going to do it or not. Granted she went over the prices with me but, it felt like a lot very quickly. Not just financially but, as if my cat was in dire need of an x-ray and labs that I felt pressured to do. So, I did. My cat who is very calm flipped out on the x-ray table and bolted out of the room. And after a few minutes she came in to tell me that nothing really was wrong. She took blood and said she would call with results. I never got a call only an excuse as to why I never received one, after I called to check in on things. It cost me a ton of money for no answers and he didnt even receive his full set of shots! Im not sure if it was just an off day for her or what, but after everything I wont be back.

Dr. Katz has been our vet for several years now. I most appreciate her patience with the cats. When our two cats arrive in the exam room, she suggests we let them out of carriers to explore the room. It always calms them down and probably lets her observe them a bit better. Bonus: Last time we went, there was a ceramic container of free cat toys (one per patient). That free toy is our cats new favorite. I also prefer this vet partially because its a cats-only practice. There wont be any barking or sniffing dogs in the waiting room to make the waiting cats nervous. Happy note for owners: theres free coffee, tea, and water in the waiting room. Happy cats and happy owners.

I have been a cat owner my entire life and I can tell you that Ive never had a vet as caring, attentive and honest as Dr. Katz. From the minute you meet her you get a genuine sense that she is invested in your cat as both a caretaker and a true animal lover. She listens carefully, is gentle and meticulous with her evaluation, and is straightforward and honest in explaining options about your pets health. Weve seen Dr. Katz in both her beautiful, clean friendly office and have had her in our home for a house call. Im so glad that we found her here in Fairfield and now have a trusted vet for life!

As a cat owner for years, I was very happy to find Dr. Katz in Fairfield when I moved to Connecticut. I have had several cats I needed to put down because they were sick and old and I must say, as painful as it was, Dr. Katz was wonderful and compassionate. Even my present cat Spazzy does not mind too much to visit with Dr. Katz for her vaccinations, as she is very calm and kind with animals. Alexa Murray

We are new clients and I couldnt be happier. Dr. Katz and Emilee came to our house to give a check-up and vaccinations to our 5 cats. Two cats required a follow-up visit at the office, which looks new and smells clean. The cats were very calm while in the waiting room rather than their usual very stressed state. That says a lot about the environment. You and your cats will be happy with AristoKatz.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Katz. I never had a cat that needed extensive vetraniary care and now that I do I am lucky enough to have him in Dr. Katz care. She calls to follow up and she always tells me exactly how much each procedure will be. She even tells me if there is a less expensive option. You know she genuinely cares.

I cant say enough good things about Dr Katz and her genuine care for her furry patients as well as their owners. She is highly responsive and always thorough. On her day off today she responded to my text about a sick kitty, and always follow up. Highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Katz is the sweetest vet Ive ever met. She addressed my concerns as well as took great care of my cat. The visits are a little expensive but I think the trade off is worth it for a great vet!
