I have brought my pets to Veterinary Wellness Center Center of New Haven since it opened. The Veterinary Care is the best. Dr. Lisa MacKay is extremely thorough with the examinations of our dogs and cats. She keeps up on the latest developments in Veterinary Care so we are able to receive the latest medications and techniques available. Dr. MacKay listens to my concerns when I bring my pets in. She provides me with all options that are available for the issue we are trying to resolve and then lets me decide the approach I would like to take. My cat lived to be 18 because of the great care he received. My three dogs are 17, 16 and 14 1/2. Each has medical conditions that Dr. MacKay carefully monitors and treats. I feel the longevity of my pets is because of the expert care they receive. The Vet Techs who work with Dr. MacKay are well trained, very efficient and friendly in person and on the phone. I know when I contact the office by phone or email I will receive a return call or email within hours. The practice has a Facebook page which allows you to schedule appointments, request prescription refills or contact the Veterinary you see. A lot of people ask about the cost. I feel the fees charged are very competitive and fair. I highly recommend Veterinary Wellness Center of New Haven. Mackenzie Barrett

My daughter and I have been bringing our dog Katie to the Veterinary Wellness Center for approximately four years. Katie is a diabetic, must have prescription food, and has allergies and she needs a pill daily. Whenever we call we are always treated in a friendly manner. The doctors are remarkable and I cant think what we would do without them. We first found out about the Wellness Office when Katie had to have surgery and was operated on by Dr. Morgan. Karrie and I decided we must go to their place after talking to Dr. Morgan. He is an amazing doctor, as well as a remarkable person. He makes people feel comfortable in his presence Recently we met Dr. Crocker for the first time. Katie had an eye problem. She was wonderful, caring and made us feel comfortable as well. If you love your pet as much as we do, you will place your cherished pet in the hands of the Veterinary Wellness Center. Sincerely. Patricia M. Hopkins

I had a wonderful experience here! I was able to get an appointment within an hour (my pup had an irritated eye). My dog is very shy with men, but due to a busy day at the office, we ended up with both a male vet tech and vet (Dr. Morgan MacKay). They were wonderful with her - they moved slowly and patiently, showed her all of the tools they were using before they took them out of view for use, and they spoke calmly. They never got frustrated, even though I am sure the exam took much longer than with a more courageous dog. Given what can be a challenging experience, they took the time to make the experience as easy as it could be for my dog and I. The vet took the time to talk with me after the exam about options to ease the stress of vet visits for my dog and warmly welcomed us to stop in for biscuits any time so as to make the office an enjoyable place.

Dr. MacKay was very nice and good with my dog but the receptionists and pricing were terrible! When I first called I was quoted $50 for an office visit and $36 for the flu vaccine my dog needed. The actual cost for the visit was $60 and the vaccine was $50. I was also pressured to get a lyme/lepto vaccine for $70 even though the lyme vaccine doesnt actually prevent lyme disease like they implied. And now Im told that the boosters for these vaccines will cost the same amount as the initial vaccines and even if I have a vet tech administer them it will still cost me $30 for the visit! At my last vet (I recently moved) the boosters were included in the price of the vaccine and they could be administered by a vet tech for free. Now Im stuck with over $400 in vet bills for two routine visits to get basic vaccines!

My two dogs have been going to the Veterinary Wellness Center for almost two years. We mostly see Dr. Crocker but have seen other vets as well. We absolutely love Dr. Crocker as well as the other vets. She is EXTREMELY thorough and takes a good deal of time with my dogs every time we see her. I really couldnt be happier with her and this clinic. I trust that when we leave, she has considered every possible aspect of care for my dogs. Staff is also very friendly, quickly responsive and helpful. I highly recommend the Veterinary Wellness Center to anyone who is looking for top care for their furry (or feathered) family members.

I have been taking my corgi to the Veterinary Wellness Center of New Haven for over 3 years now and I trust them completely with her care. The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable and I always feel she is well taken care of when she is there! I recently moved to a new town about 15 minutes away and I cant even bring myself to find a new vet, so we go back to New Haven to the Veterinary Wellness center, whenever she is scheduled for a check up. I would recommend them to anyone in the New Haven area looking for a great team of veterinary associates.

Doctor misinformed me about my kitten. Brought in my unvaccinated kitten that she said she wouldnt vaccinate because she can have rabies then told me the only options I have is euthanizing her or putting her in some quarantine center for 3 months! Animal control told me it should only be 2weeks and she should be fine because when she bit me she was only playing. Its been more than a month since Ive had her and shes is perfectly fine! Will never go back to them and they charge $55 dollars a visit alone without anything!

Dr. Morgan McKay saved the life of two of my cats: Ella had chronic kidney problems and a heart condition. With his knowledge and guidance, we had her for two more years than we would have probably with any other veterinarian. He also quickly diagnosed my other cats Benjis urinary tract disease that saved his life. I will go nowhere else. Both Doctors McKay and Dr. Crocker are great. They take the time to talk to you and are up-to-date on the latest treatments for all sorts of kitty ailments. HIGHLY recommend!

I would definitely recommend NH Veterinary Associates. All the doctors that I have seen there have always taken great care of my dog. During routine visits, they are always kind and take plenty of time to examine her and answer all my questions. When we had an issue with some abnormal blood work, Dr. McKay made sure to explain all our options thoroughly and even called us in the evenings a few times when results were back. My dog is my baby and I would only take her someplace that I really trust!

Each person on the staff has been warm, attentive, and caring. Everyone is sincere, patient, and willing to answer questions or review information until you feel you understand the next steps you need to take in the care of your pet. Were very thankful the Veterinary Wellness Center of New Haven is so close by. We really lucked out in proximity AND quality care.
