Dr. D is caring, knowledgable and gentle. She explained what needed to be done in advance and prepared me for what I would be experiencing. Unfortunately, Ive had a number of fillings and hers by far was the gentlest Ive had. I had virtually no pain or discomfort that evening or the following day. What is better is how she treated my children, ages 3 and 5. I informed her in advance that my 5 y/o had mild autism and may need to be queued to "look at me with your eyes" to have her maintain focus. De. D was amazingly responsive to her and very patient with my feisty "threenager". So much so that my 3 y/o asks me daily to go back. Wonderful dentist and I look forward to having her care for my little family for many years.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I am a grown woman terrified of dentists and dental procedures and Dr. D was amazing. I was upfront about my anxiety and she treated me wonderfully, constantly checking in with me and explaining what she was doing, what I should be feeling, and demonstrates a wonderful knowledge of oral health. She replaced a number of old fillings that were no longer doing their job and that other dentists had missed before. I could not ask for a better dentist and will be sad when I leave CT and cant take her with me.

In Feb 2015 I needed to have Scaling and Root Planning of one tooth. The tooth had a pocket measuring a 7....ugh. After the pain free procedure, and following the DR.s orders of cleaning the tooth, 5 months later, the pocket is now a 2! Who says the bone doesnt grow back? LOVE and the dentist arent typically in the same sentence, but they are at ComPassion Dental! Dr. Diederichs expertise is beyond what you normally find in a dentist. And the holistic products she uses and recommends are the best. I cant thank you enough!!!

Everyone in this dental office is great to work with. The dentist is very professional and does great dental work. The word Compassion is the correct descriptive for this business. They care about their patients and understand that not everyone has insurance for dental. The dentist has a payment scale for people in this category. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of a dentist. Also, the receptionist is very nice and good to talk to.

Dr. D is by far the BEST dentist ever. Her expertise in all things dental is amazing and the instructions for at home care after you leave the office is so helpful. Her suggestions on care of your own teeth makes you think she is crazy for giving such good advice that can help prevent problems in the first place. The name Compassion Dental says it all. This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Her staff is wonderful and caring also.

Terrible experience. Dr. Diederich had scratched by teeth during cleaning and messed up my fillings to the point of very harsh pain. She was also rude and arrogant about the innocent. Wanted to charge me way more to fix the problem. Definitely stay away if you care about the quality of your teeth.

I have a brother who is in a wheel chair. Dr. Diederich is able to work on his teeth while in his chair which puts him to ease. The techniques she uses makes him comfortable and his teeth are looking terrific.
