I needed a dentist in the New Haven area after I moved from NYC and I was apprehensive about just going to just anyone so I read the reviews of many dental offices in the area. My cousin was my dentist for over two decades in NYC so I was worried about who to come to now. I came to the Admire Dental site and read the reviews and they were amazing, almost to good to be true but one of the reviewers I knew and highly respected so I booked an appointment for a severe problem I had with a tooth. The staff took me right away and Dr Panks greeted me with a warm reassuring smile and a careful analysis of the problem I had. First I had a great cleaning and then he then temporarily filled the tooth until I could come back for a root canal. I was worried that the root canal would be painful since Id never had one, however Dr. Panks explained the entire procedure and put me at ease. He didnt mind that I asked so many questions. The hour long procedure was done with great care and completely painless, which I couldnt believe but when the Novocain (yes only Novocain) wore off later that day, I was back to normal and the tooth was filled and felt great. I have to say that he is an amazing dentist who is very knowledgeable and kind as well as is his fabulous staff. They were very upbeat and kind. I highly recommend Dr Panks and have to say that the reviews were in fact true, that he is quite great at his profession and takes great care in putting you at ease and he provides a painless experience. I thank him very much and know that others will find the same clean warm welcome environment to something that many would be apprehensive about. P.S. Dr Panks and my cousin graduated from the same dental school in NYC which I found to be a positive testament to the quality of the program taught there. Thanks again Dr. Panks!

Dr. Panks is both professional and personal - and he is particularly good with children. He takes the time to understand your concerns, answer each of your questions, and then offers several workable and professional options for each and every issue you may have. Kailynn, his hygienist, is equally personal, professional, and efficient – the two of them work together as a single, accomplished, and soothing dental experience. (If anxiety is your issue – they can be both calm and fast – treating and releasing you in a fraction of the time in which we are accustomed). In addition, the exam rooms are set up for patient comfort AND entertainment - including custom music or movies on your own screen. Out front, on the phone, and behind the scenes, your advocates are Jenny and Samantha, who will ardently pursue insurance inquiries and options, rather than simply dismissing a claim as "not likely" or "not covered". And, after rigorous inquiry, if a claim turns out not to be covered, their fee schedule and payment options are unbeatable. The huge wait area accommodates both discerning adults and children, replete with a game area, a multi device charging station, 2 video monitors, and a very calming decor. If your dental experiences have been fearful, or marginal at best, you owe yourself a favor and give these folks a try. If your dental experiences have already been good – with Dr. Panks you could elevate them to “great” ! And, if your dental experiences have already been great – wouldn’t it be nice to give your wallet just a little more bulk ? In either or any of the above – these kind folks deserve our attention.

I highly recommend Dr. Panks and the Admire Dental team! I was so grateful to find their office this summer when I had a dental emergency; they saw me within a couple days and gave excellent care. It is extremely hard to find a dentist who will accept Husky insurance for adults, and usually if you do find one, the care is definitely sub-par. Not the case here! The office is clean, bright, and completely up to date. The staff is personable and friendly, and Dr. Panks is very gentle. He is great at putting you at ease if you are nervous (which I was! I have a bad history of negative experiences with dentists, but I feel so comfortable with Dr. Panks that Im not worried about the dental work I have ahead of me.) and he does a great job in helping you understand everything hes doing. The staff take their time and do not make you feel rushed. I really cant say enough great things about this office. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I was walking by Admire Dental a new dentist office in town. I needed a new Dentist too it had been over two years since i was last seen. I thought the service was very good and the location was very convenient for me. Their staff was very, very friendly and very knowledgeable about their work. They knew about my appointment and the hygienist was very good. Also, the receptionist was very conscientious and friendly. The attending dentist was very professional and he explained everything that I had to do. He was very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable. Everything was clean. Ill go back again after six months for a check up. It was a nice office with a nice atmosphere. I felt like people know me and if I go back theyll know who I am. I felt very good about my experience and Im sure to go back and refer them to other patrons.

Recently I had broken a tooth and needed dental care. My insurance company gave me a few options as far as dentists. After some research I chose Admire dental of Branford for the excellent reviews. Well the reviews were correct, Dr Panks and his staff are excellent! Ive always dreaded going to the dentist but no longer have that feeling. Dr Panks was excellent! He was very thorough and has excellent demeanor. I was so impressed with my visit that my wife immediately made a appointment for a dental checkup. I am very happy I chose Dr Panks office. He and his staff are very professional and most importantly they due a excellent job of taking care of my dental needs. If you are looking for a Dentist office for you and your family look no further, make a appointment with Dr Panks, you will not be disappointed!

Dr. Panks was very nice as well as his assistant. There was no wait which was nice. He was kind and honest with me. Gave me a lot of good advice on which brushes I should be using because it seems I was brushing too hard and causing my gums to "run away" from my teeth. lol If you do not have insurance his prices are very reasonable. The really nice part is that he accepts HUSKY for adults. It is very hard to find Dental Offices that will accept adults with HUSKY without having to drive far and most likely really not liking the place that you would have to go to. Dr. Panks did not make it feel like the office was a quick moving revolving door. There was no rushing through the cleaning.

My whole family has been going to Dr. Panks for about a month and they all love him and his staff. They have top notch customer service and are very accommodating to our schedules. Personally, I have a horrible fear of dentists and Dr.Panks is so gentle and explains everything he is doing that I have not had any anxiety going to any of my appointments and have been comfortable with all the procedures.. I have also been wanting to get invisalign for a few years and with his affordable payment plan I was able to that and I love them. I would recommend anyone who is looking for an amazing dentist with a great personality and staff to go to Admire Dental, I highly recommend this place.
