I started going to Hebron Center Dentistry in 2015, when my previous dentist retired. I dont think I have ever experienced such a consistent level of courtesy, attention, and professionalism in a dental providers office. At my first cleaning/exam, the hygienist, Taylor, took the time to get to know a little about me, and then took time to go over the best way for me to floss, brush, etc... (apparently I needed reminding) in order to reduce the chance for needing more dental work in the future. Dr. Nicholes was very thorough in her exam and discussed the few things that needed to be addressed soon, and then the rest that might eventually need work. I was happy that she didnt try to get me to do anything that wasnt necessary (In the past, Ive been "upsold" by dentists). Since then, Ive had a great experience every time Ive gone, whether for my scheduled cleaning and exams, an emergency visit, or for repairs. I had a crown done and Dr. Nicholes is so particular that even though the crown looked and felt fine to me, she sent it back to the lab because she noticed a barely discernible discrepancy where it met my gum. I would have been happy as it was, but she said she couldnt leave it less than perfect. Aside from adept skills, which Dr. Nicholes has, I think a conscience is the best thing I want in my dentist. Lastly, Ill say I have had some occasional reason to call for billing issues caused by coordination with the the insurance company, and I get the front desk at the office, not some outsourced billing company. When items needed to be adjusted, they were adjusted without me having to get into an argument. I read the review from 6 years ago, and I suspect this wasnt even the same dentist that was running this practice, because I have had ZERO negative experiences here, and I go every 4 months. I have also sent countless clients here, and they always rave about the office. Great job Dr. Nicholes and staff! Thank you.

First, I tried not giving them any stars at all, but google will not let me. I am so frustrated over this place!! I have never written a review like this, but I wanted other people to know how terrible and UNCARING these people are! My husband needs a lot of dental work. As we just acquired new insurance, this was one of the closest places to go. My husband started going a few months ago and was hoping to get everything he needed done so he could finally have a smile that he was proud of. They started all of the work, including doing some extractions in the front of his mouth. My husband wanted to take the next steps right away. He called and called, and when someone would actually call him back (not usual), they kept giving him excuses as to why they have to wait. In the meantime, my husband is walking around very paranoid about his teeth. Finally my husband called and said this NEEDS to get this done....and they are still passive. I dont think these people realize that they are dealing with real people. I feel so terrible for my husband, his self-esteem has gone down tremendously and I blame it all on them. We are now going somewhere else, since they refuse to do it. If you just need a cleaning, I guess they may have the capacity to care enough to make it through one appt, but if you need more than that, I doubt anyone there has the capability to care for a long term patient.

I had a totally different experience than the other reviewers. For my cleaning they were super friendly, very competent and thorough. The hygienist went above and beyond to give me a great cleaning, very thorough and gentle, and talked with me a lot with good suggestions about how I could improve my brushing and flossing (all without making me feel bad about it). The young doctor who did my assessment was very competent, asked great questions about my teeth and habits, and took the time to review my teeth and x-rays carefully and to answer all my questions. They werent pushy at all regarding my next-step treatments, and I was able to schedule my appointment for more serious work for within just a few days. From what I saw in the waiting room they were very family-friendly, and they seemed to take a great small-town neighborly care with all their patients. I dont mean to disparage the other reviewers, but just because a doctor is young doesnt mean s/he isnt an excellent doctor. Id trust myself in their hands absolutely: Ill be glad to go back there again.

Up until i was referred to Hebron Dentistry, sitting in the "chair" was something I never wanted to do. Knowing I had to have any type of dental work done would cause me days of stress that I no longer experience thanks to Dr. Nicholes. During my very first visit, Dr Nicholes was very patient and understanding of my fear of sitting in the dentist chair. She didnt rush at all and explained everything she was doing before she did it. Ultimately, having this type of dentist was all I needed to overcome my fear of dentists. I would highly recommend this office to anyone, but specifically, to those who go through what I USED TO go through. This reason alone is enough for me to continue going to this office, but when you add the professionalism and friendliness of this staff, you have a home run!! People have no problem writing a bad review, but not many write a good one. As long as shes practicing dentistry, I will be a patient there.

Ive been going here a long time. Ive always been a 5 star fan. Ive recommended this place often. I feel confident in the dentists and with Karen, my hygienist. She is very smart, down to earth and is an asset there! She is excellent at what she does. Recently though, Im disappointed in the office help since Laura passed. Collete has always been polite and helpful and if she didnt know the answer, she would find out. But now, there seems to be too many in the office filling in. It feels fragmented. Maybe this is a transitional time? Im trying to be professional and patient. My husband and I have left messages only to get no response in a timely manner. Its just not the same as what we are used to here. I also am wondering about the fee regarding oral exam after the dental cleaning. I feel this is part of the cleaning and should not be an additional cost.

I have been to many dentists throughout the years, I have found myself following Alison Nicholes (DDS) from practice to practice. She was always very accommodating to my wife and me. On some unique instances she has even opened the practice after hours to help my wife with a very unfortunate and recurring issue. Beyond the exceptional customer service, she relies on the feedback from the customer to help her gauge and judge recommendations; meaning she does not give you the Dr-guilt you may already know is potentially of concern. I look forward to bringing my children to her, and have recommended her to many of my friends and family. Ali, keep up the great work and look forward to seeing you soon!
