Money and profit are the cornerstones of this facility. Do not be fooled that your pet or your time matters here. There are long wait lines for every appointment. They refuse to bill you and insist on same day payment, which is fine, but they make you sit for another 20 min to wait for the chart. My wife and I have had nothing, but poor experiences. Examples below. 1. Tried to prescribe a medication for our dog for $100+. We asked for a paper script and got medication from a pharmacy for $6. 2. Tried to sell us an unnecessary surgery for thousands of dollars. We got another opinion and the dog is fine more than a year later. 3. On our very first appointment they told us to google and do our own research when it came to various health topics for our dogs. I really couldnt believe it. My wife and I still joke about this. We had to leave them because we just could not trust anything they had to say because money is their only real concern.

Ridiculous! I was 10 minutes late for an appointment in the middle of a week day afternoon, and they told me I had to reschedule because they are on a strict, profit margin driven routine. I came back a few days later. The regular lame vet visit were they sell you some expensive, in house tonic, thats doesnt work, for your pets symptoms. Dry skin? $18,00 for a tiny bottle, they said Id have to keep coming back for more. I asked one of their (always new) vet techs, about the ingredients and they told me it was olive oil. This place is good only for basic vaccines.

I have been going to these excellent folks for 25+ years. There is no better care. All the staff at Mountain Lore will far exceed your expectations. The Vets, Vet Techs and the wonderful, helpful ladies at the front desk always strive to give the best care and advice. You and your furry or non-furry friends are in very good hands here. You will not be disappointed!

Great team of doctors, technicians and receptionists! All of them are easy to work with and show a genuine love of animals. The vets give you their full attention and as much time as necessary for your pet. They explain medical situations in laymens terms. Were very happy we chose Mountain Lore Animal Hospital for our dog Savannah!

I really like this vet. They are all super nice, great at what they do, and easy to deal with. The front desk can be a bit slow, but its much much better than the vet we used to use. Also, the cat that lives there is great!
