AWFUL experience. I am a medical provider myself so know what I should expect. I called beforehand (needed more than one call) to make sure that the frames that I wanted were still in stock with the vendor as well as to have them help me pick a vision insurance plan. THEY helped me sign up for insurance. This was all because I planned to go to them to fill this prescription as these frames are hard to get and expensive. I wanted to make sure that it was covered. The time comes for the vision plan to be active (+/- 6 weeks later) and 1st- no one in the doctors office was picking up for me to make an appointment to have my eyes checked so I went to another office to have that done. Afterwards, I returned with the prescription, in order to have it filled. Customer service rep at the frame shop recognized my name as I had been in contact with them- but guess what? when it came time to fill the prescription- she couldnt find my file. She said that it had be shredded because it was too old- then said to "call them" if I found the info. SERIOUSLY?!?! It is now 2 Weeks later and apparently I get to edit this post, I wish it were for the positive- They called back about the frames. I returned the call thinking that something positive can come out of the experience. The person on the other line was obviously not pleased to be speaking to me. I asked what the call was about, she said that they had called regarding the frames. I stated that it was OK as I had already ordered them from the Optician in PHILADELPHIA who had originally bought them for me. Then she just HUNG UP. No other statement, just a dial tone. Kudos for great customerservice!!! Here is the thing...I could have had them actually put the lenses in which is the expensive part...but nope...would you?

If there was a lower category available then I would have selected it. When I went in the older lady there seemed nice enough. She started by helping me select my frames and explained the differences between lens types. However, there werent any frames I was too crazy for so I opted to go with some highend lenses with my pre-existing frames. I ordered them and that was the beginning of the end. A few days later I went back to pick them up/try them on and there have been nothing but headaches. They made me feel dizzy and cross eyed, but insisted they were made correctly. The same older lady "adjusted" them for me, meaning constant manual bending, but to no avail. Tried them out for the next few days, but still the same. I went back again to tell them about my problems and insisted my eyes just needed to adjust to them. WHAT? I have been wearing glasses for the past 20 years and know when something is wrong. Now my useless Pearle vision glasses are collecting dust and serve as backups to the glasses I purchased 5 years ago. Waste of time and money. Never go here. Maybe other Pearle Visions are better...definitely not the one in Stamford. Be warned!

As I had thought when I put on my new glasses for the first time, my glasses were improperly made. Despite my complaints, they claimed it was a matter of adjusting the frames and that I would get used to them. A week later I returned with the same complaints, and it turns out the glasses were made improperly. Not a single apology from these people. This place is expensive and does not care about wasting your time.

They were absolutely amazing. I was expecting to just schedule an appointment and instead because of a late/noshow slow they were able to adjust some things in order to take me in as a walk in right away. The Doctor was gentle and explained things easily to me and they took their time making sure I understood my options with my insurance cards and prescription. We had fun trying on frames.

Absolutely best eye care center I have ever visited. Staff very friendly and Dr. Eisner was remarkable. Took little time to help with my eye care situation and was very affordable. Offered any type of advise he could without a penny being spent. I would refer this company to anybody. So very pleased!!!
