I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I was under a new insurance carrier & had different medical and vision. The receptionist ran both and explained my benefits and what came up. She also gave me a few reminders of the time and how long it would be until I would be seen (I was 45 minutes early so it was nice to be given an update!). The assistant that I saw did the basic eye tests and explained each test she was going to do before she started. Dr Sienko was great - he was friendly and explained the technology of my current contact lenses, asked questions about my daily activities to get a better idea of what type of contacts/glasses lenses I needed, and was very helpful. He walked me over to the eye store, where they promptly ordered my lenses for me and explained my benefits. Overall, the friendliest office I have been too. It was extremely clean and everyone was polite and aware of tasks and appointments. May be minor to other people, but I was consistently greeted by my name which, to me, shows a lot of care.

I highly recommend this very professional and efficient eye care center. I appreciated the friendly greeting I received at the front desk. Soon after I checked in I was brought into a room for testing by a pleasant and professional technician who put me at ease as she guided me through the tests. The customer-friendly experience continued when I saw Dr. Sienko. He actually wants to know what activities I do that require extensive periods of time using my eyes, i.e. computer, reading, etc. Believe or not, no other eye doctor has ever asked this important question! He also is very good in his patient education. When I walked out of his office I felt that I knew what the status of my eye health and vision is and what is in store for me in the future. As a nurse, I can be very critical of health professionals that dont take the time to put a patient at ease or answer questions. This is not the case at Wallingford Eye Care Center. They are definitely a 5 star office!

Our family found a new home for eye care this summer. I needed emergency eye care and my primary recommended this group. Not only did they see me right away, but Dr. Elder was able to figure out quickly what was going on and immediately provided the appropriate care. Follow up appointments continued the excellent care. I decided to go to him for my annual eye exam. We had previously discussed my long term issue with dry eyes. He was able to determine the cause and again, provided excellent care and follow up with this. Not only is he a very gentle and kind person, but he has excellent diagnostic skills. The staff is friendly and very helpful. You feel that you are in excellent hands with this group. No pressure to purchase glasses - no pressure for additional services. They respect your decisions and you feel very comfortable with that. We have found a rare thing today in the business and medical world - excellence, genuine caring, and respect for the patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Sienko at Wallingford Eye Care Center for over three years now and have never been disappointed with the care I received. Ive always been treated courteously and in a timely manner. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and have always been helpful in explaining my vision care plan to me whenever I had a question. Dr. Sienko is extremely thorough and has a wonderful personality. His obvious compassion and interest in holistic patient care makes me happy to have found this place to trust my vision care with. I would highly recommend Wallingford Eye Care to everyone!

I recently visited Dr, Sienko for my second annual eye exam. I found both exams very complete (I have worn glasses for almost fifty years). Most important was what happened between visits. I had (what I thought was a severe eye emergency) and called the office very late one afternoon. I was offered a choice of a late appointment that day or one before the day started the following morning. I choose a 7:30am appointment the next morning. By 10:15am he had me in the office of a retnia specialist to be treated.

I called on Wednesday and had my appointment the next Monday. I was able to complete my paperwork online, saving time in the office. All of the employees seem to know their jobs and do it them well! They operate as a well oiled machine which allowed me to get in and out in record time. Dr. Sienko not only examined my eyes, he explained what he was doing and why. I would recommend Wallingford Eye Care Center with complete confidence.

Nothing special. They claim to be in network with Anthem, however, they always charge full price without checking to see my coverage. Since Anthem is about a mile up the road from them and the second largest health insurance company in the country you would assume they would know their policies. The doctors are good but they dont seem to care about the incompetence in the billing department. After 30 years we are bailing out.

wlfd eye care center is the best eye facility i have ever been to. dr. inna lazer is by far the best eye doctor i have had. she is very caring, concerned, and knows my history without having to ask the same questions every visit. it is a pleasure doing business with this organization and their staff. you will not go wrong with them. if your in need of an eye care facility check them out.

Had an issue with my eye, was able to get an appt quickly. Everyone I spoke with was very nice and the Dr I saw was great. He quickly diagnosed my condition and explained it to me. He also gave me the drops I needed which was nice so I didnt have to go to the pharmacy. Id also been here previously just to order glasses and the optical manager helped me. She was wonderful as well.

My wife and I have been Dr. Sienkos patients for 16 years. We moved out of Wallingford almost 10 years ago but remain loyal to Wallingford Eye Care and its wonderful staff. The people are always courteous, knowledgeable, and are genuinely interested in answering our questions. We receive excellent care and are treated very well. We highly recommend Wallingford Eye Care!

After a visit with my daughter pediatrician, they recommend that she see an eye doctor because she might need glasses. I was able to get an appoint for her within the same week. The staff was very friendly and were wonderful with her, Dr. Elder was very patient during the eye exam with her and was knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I recently moved and needed an eye care specialist closer to me. After being with/knowing my previous doctor for many years, moving to a new one can be tough if unfamiliar with the group. I love Wallingford Eye Care. Everyone is always kind and they are always on time. I am nervous patient but everyone is patient with me. I trust them and would not go anywhere else. I dont even live in CT anymore but I still come back every year for my appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Elder and Dr. Sienko.
