30 year client. Called with a medical emergency and was refused accommodation (Dr. Kugelman was unwilling to see me on short notice, i.e. within a few days time). I understand that it takes more than one day to book a normal appointment, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I called asking to be seen under a special arrangement due to acute symptoms. Im crossing Hartford Dermatology off my recommendation list and am considering registering a formal complaint against the practice. Too long; didnt read: Look elsewhere if you want to know you have a shot at a doctor who cares when it actually matters.

Whoever picks up the phone is so rude. I called and asked if they were accepting new patients, the person responded no. I asked if she had any clue if they would be anytime soon, she responded they arent going to. She then hung up on me.

Dr. Kugelman is a top notch professional and pleasant to visit. She is attentive and follows up promptly with communication.
