Went for an x-ray of my hand. Nurses and staff were really nice at check in. I went in and saw the physicians assistant Michael Schuh and he told me my hand was perfectly fine even though I couldnt even bend it to hold a pen and it was visibly bruised. He stood across the hall from my exam room at the nurses station computer and talked to me from behind it while taking a few glances at the screen to view my x-rays then came in wrapped my hand and walked out without even a good bye or anything. I saw him for maybe 3 mins. The "nurse" acted like I was a drug seeker because I told her no thank you to an Rx for 800mg Motrin and that I would just take the OTC one instead. Never told me how long to keep my hand wrapped or even to have a good night or anything just simply walked out of the room and left. I could even hear them talking about how slow their night was going so the issue had nothing to do with them being busy, regardless of what was going on there was no reason for their horrible service. They were just plain rude, unsympathetic and unprofessional. Next time I get any kind of injury Ill be sure to see a REAL DOCTOR. Im very disappointed in this visit. Im sure Ill be billed like I got 5 star treatment though.

I do agree it is a very well equipped and staffed facility. And fortunate to have that in the Middletown area for the situations that need it. HOWEVER, when I entered and asked if there were "walk in services for non emergency" i should have been told the truth. Not "oh we can take care of you...as she cackled and said this will be the most expensive visit youve ever made".... and then back that with "we cant turn down care to anyone". Because what that really resulted in for me....was a NON covered event that cost me over $500. Honesty goes a long way with a lot of folks. I was contacted by them regarding this complaint. And it was swept under with the blanket statement of "they cant turn away anyone requiring care". I asked a question to be directed to the correct facility since i was new to Middletown...instead since it was a very slow time at the facility(read no one there) i was whisked in to be added to the books. I dont have $500 laying around to just throw at a bill....most people dont. This has left a VERY sour taste in my mouth and I will be very careful if I ever choose Christiana for anything again.

Reception was great. Care was non-existent. Went in with a family member who had a contraceptive implant issue. Mr. Cruikshank, PA looked at her arm and said follow up with your GYN. Im not going to take it out. He gave no further information. When asked about the concern with the implant having moved he was condescending and rude and indicated he was not the one who put it in. Gave no instruction whatsoever. He got up and said he would get her paperwork ready. He gave the impression he couldnt be bothered. Very distressing. When the nurse came in with the paperwork, she said followup with your GYN. I asked her about ice or pain meds - her response was, you can take Tylenol if you want. I am shocked at the rude and condescending demeanor of both of these "healthcare professionals".

I feel That YES...They are WAY BETTER than Newark. The Main Campus, BUT;I have had Nurses & Doctors there that had ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER!!!! I mean come on....arenT YOU THERE TOO TAKE CARE OFF PEOPKE??? YES....it is a hard job, sometimes you have too judge and make calls that you really do not wanna make but someone has to do their job! To be HONEST WITH YOU, I DO IT BETTER THAN THEM! WE JUST CAN NOT LET ÂNYONE BE A DOCTOR!!!!NO COMMON SENSE, & STUPID DUMB QUESTIONS. THEN YOUR HONEST & they look at you like EWWWW.....THE PAY ISNT THAT *UCKING GREAT SOOO? I CANT SEE HOW PEOPLE DO IT FOR EASY GOOD MONEY$; Because by far its NOT EASY.....YOU CONSTANTLY HAVE TOO HAVE YOUR BRAIN TURNED ON!!!☺ HEALTHCARE WORKERS GET WITH IT!!!!

My son was taken there after having a seizure. Have done this for 20 years so I know the drill. Doctor very nice. But apparently they dont dehydration is a concern post seizure and never offered him fluids. We were there 5 hours waiting for blood results. I had to ask a nurse who was staring at her phone to get him a drink. I did this 3 times. I realize its not AI Dupont but some things should be common knowledge. And sorry scrolling on your phone at work should not be tolerated. She never once came to check on us. And it wasnt busy.

This is a very well run ER, clean, efficient, and the staff is amazing. We were met at the door by a kind gentleman who helped transport the patient with a wheelchair. Ive never seen that level of service at any of Christiana Cares facilities. I highly recommend this ER excellent care is provided by caring, knowledgeable staff.

Not very well staffed for the cold and flu season. I have to agree with another reviewer. The cost are really high and thats with great insurance. Be careful, go there as your last resort. Seems like a country doctors office in the 21st century.

Amazing with How professional there is. Fast services and they try getting yippy dont fast. I world rather go here brecause they are mote able to address any issue more faster and the staff take more time to focus on toy as well.

Fast curious and very knowledgable. We were visiting from out of state and our 2 year old came down with bad ear infection over a holiday weekend. Could not have asked for anything better!
