I dont usually write reviews, but I just want to warn those who plan to attend this practice using groupon. I came to BB& B because I had mild lower back pain after being bent very far back when play fighting with a friend. I came in hoping that an alignment would relieve the pain. Though Mrs. K was very nice, I believe she gave me a very severe treatment for what I was experiencing. I received a manual and an activator manipulation as well as a neck manipulation. Since the appointment I now have constant back and neck pains and im now considering physical therapy. Like I said, Mrs. K was very nice but for a first time visitor I believe she gave me a very severe treatment. I mention being a groupon patient because I do not know if this was an attempt at having me continue to return for further treatments. Upon posting this review Mrs. K gave me a call to see if there is anything she can do at this point, which I truly appreciate but I do not plan on attending this practice or any chiropractic practice moving forward. It has been almost 10 months since that appointment and I am in more pain than when I came in that day.

I am so thankful for Dr. K! She has helped me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum, and now she is helping me recover from a car accident! I flipped around to check on my daughter in her car seat upon impact and I have had nothing but neck pain and lots of upper back pain ever since. This accident happened on Christmas Eve, and I began treatments with Dr. K early Jan! She always fits me in when its convenient for me, and gives me her full attention. I have been to other chiropractors in the past and she is by far the best! She has a technique that seems to especially help me called the grastin technique. She takes a lot of time making sure her patients get a thorough treatment every single time. This is especially important to me seeing how I drive 40 min in just to come to her nice, clean, calming office twice a week!! We moved to Deltona from Maitland, but I was determined to keep coming to her because she really cares and wants the best for her patients. Thanks for all you have done for me Dr. K I highly recommend you to anyone looking to feel better through natural holistic techniques!!

The chiropractor is good at what she does - until she triple books your appointment slot, and tries to juggle you with two other clients and manages to burn your skin with the electric STEM system she uses to relax your muscles. Read: Boils on my skin. And when I called to let her know I had boils, she claimed that it was "just a risk" of the machine. Ive been to many chiropractic appointments over the years, and Ive never had this happen to me. She claimed she had it covered in the patient paper work and that she talked about it with me in the initial visit when no such thing ever happened. Gracious, just take responsibility for hurting your patient! Dont blame a machine when you made the mistake of booking too many clients and jeopardized the health of your patient! She didnt even bother to compensate me - just said it "sometimes happens" when, really, this never happens under diligent care.

I saw Dr. K for the first time today. A couple of things struck me right away. 1. The energy in her office was very calming and comforting. I felt it as soon as I walked in. Her space has high ceilings and the walls are painted with warm cool colors. It creates a very open and inviting/healing space. 2. Dr. K and the staff were very welcoming to this new patient. They were very professional yet managed to smile at my corny jokes. As for the treatment. I came in with neck pain, not from trauma, that restricted my head movement. Dr. K was very thorough in her evaluation and very gentle yet firm with my adjustment. I left her office in a much better place than when I came in. I have found my new Chiropractor

I originally chose Balanced Back & body because it is located right down the street from my boyfriends house. My insurance doesnt cover this clinic, but because Dr. Kristy was so kind and willing to work with me, I decided to come here anyway. Honestly, I would rather pay a little extra to see a doctor that I am comfortable with, who understands my situation and pains, and is willing to help me feel better. Dr. Kristy is that doctor. Her office is open and clean, and everyone is so friendly and kind. She has office hours that fit my schedule and she knows what she is doing. Who knew you could manipulate and pop a body with a gentile touch! I highly recommend coming to this office.

I highly recommend Dr. K for your chiropractic care. She helped me tremendously through my pregnancy. I was having horrible headaches and migraines and she basically made them all go away! Now I am 7 weeks post partum and have already started back up with my ongoing treatment bc the headaches and tension were coming back. She is super accommodating and knows what shes doing.

Never been to a chiropractor and wanted to go because people wouldnt stop talking about. I went there with a bit of lower back pain and should pain since I sit on an office chair for a long time of my day. Have gone 3 times already and Ive been feeling so much better. Dr. K. is awesome and very knowledgeable. Cant wait to try the message out!

My visit to Balanced Back & Body definitely surprised me. I didnt feel like I was walking into a stuffy chiropractic office. It felt more like visiting a spa. Definitely recommend Dr K! I am a chiropractor and am very picky about my own treatment, the office is new clean and comfortable, you are not stuck waiting, and she gives a very good adjustment. Soft tissue therapy is also good - I am happy to have finally found a chiropractor for myself!!

Dr K is super nice and a quality chiropractor. Deborah IS the BEST massage therapist! I come biweekly for an adjustment and once a month or more for a massage. They know my name and remember all about me :) Definitely recommend. The decor and atmosphere is very calming and therapeutic.
