used Cortez Animal Clinic to board our black lab. We were new to the area in the process of moving from another state. First of all they do not have adequate room to board large dogs and believe they kept him drugged the entire week he was there. When we brought him home he was lithargic, druling and vomiting and we knew something was terribly wrong. I called the clinic to ask them what was wrong with him and only then did they tell me they had given him a shot to calm him down because they said he had gotten upset about another dog being brought in. They should have called us and asked permission before drugging our dog. He was a very sick dog and the drugs did not wear off untiI the next morning. would never trust them with a live animal of mine again.

Disappointed. Not professional. I Recently had my dog neutered (after being persuaded) along with xrays and blood work for a limp. Complications occurred with the incision and I had to take him barely 24hrs later to the Vet ER. However, I left messages about the issue but never received a call back to check on him or anything. Also was suppose to get results for Blood work but no call again. Never got to see any xrays just told hes fine. I not only expected but deserve more for my emotional support animal as I am a Disabled Veteran.

My dog had a surgery in Cortez Animal Clinic and Iam glad to say that Dr Walters team was very nice and kind with me, my dog and my wife. I recomend this clinic because you can see that they actually love animals and treat them with love . Thank you Walter, Darla and thanks to de rest of the team.

Very friendly staff, vet was very gentle and thorough with my kitty. Some vets just glance and pass out meds, this vet was super caring and fully examined my little angel. Prices are decent and knowledge is high. I would highly recommend this place.

Every one here at this clinic is so very kind to both me and my pets. I wont take them anywhere else. Love this place If you have a pet take them here they will help you no matter what. They are awesome people.

Cortez Animal Clinic is sincerely concerned about every animal that comes in there. Theyre kind, gentle and thorough. If we get another pet, I would not hesitate to take him/her to them.
