My dog was seen there in April 2017 for a bad cough and I was told he had allergies,"his lungs and heart sound good". I told the vet he has had a cough for about 3 weeks and he has not had allergies in the 7 yrs I have had him, even had a recorded video. He stated "With these small dogs its usually just allergies and Ill put him on something for some sinus drainage he may have". The bill was apx $200 dollars. A follow up call was made about a week later and he had not gotten any better, however, "we are closed now and all appointments are booked for Monday, but you can bring him in as an emergency and we will try to work him in, sorry he still doesnt feel well". The older lady at the front desk can be unfriendly and rude. I took my Pom to another vet today where he was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and an infection in his blood. Petplex will be sending for his records. My dog will not be going back to Cold Springs. If you are like me and your dog is like your child, then I would not recommend going to Cold Springs vet clinic, it isnt worth wasting your money on a possible misdiagnosis, like in my experience.

I truely love the staff and cant say enough about Dr. Kathryn Deering, D.V .M. at first I was affended when she complained about my labs weight. But she listened to me about trying to place him on a diet and it not working and she made the decision to check his thyroid. Who would have thought, but he has hypothyroidism. Poor guy. After being placed on medication he has now lost over 25 lbs, his level is back to normal and he feels like a new guy. He is running and playing more and I owe it all to Dr. Deering and her staff. They have their hands full when he comes in and we try to get him on the scales or draw his blood, but they take their time with him and make everything ok. Thanks to all of you.

In April 2015 my dog got sick. She was vomiting and it was red. She couldnt walk or go to the bathroom or eat. On advice of someone I took my dog to this vet. The Dr took x rays gave me some medics and sent me and my dog to me. The next day my dog got worse. I called the Dr and he told to give the medicine more time. Later that day my dog died. She was 3 years old and a 5 pound Rat Terrier. This Dr did nothing to save my dog. The only recommendation I would give to someone is to not use this vet. Run the other way. This Dr should lose his preactice and permanently Retiere. Stay away from this veternarian (and I use the word losely).

Dr. Snyder is the best! I took my dog to another vet because he wasnt feeling well and they said he was just getting fat and to cut back on his food and he would be fine, but he kept getting worse. I brought him to Dr. Snyder and the moment he walked through the door he knew it was something more than that, he genuinely cared for my dog and that saved his life! Dr. Snyder pulled a 6 pound tumor from my (before) 40 pound dog, it had been leeching his blood and crushing his organs. Thank you Dr. Snyder for saving my best friend!

Thank the Lord for Cold Spring and Dr. Snyder. I had an emergency with my Chloe, she couldnt get up her back legs were paralyzed labored breathing like she had a stroke! Northtownes doctor wasnt in and they closed at noon and Mindy said theres nothing she could do and suggested Medvet which is in Columbus after calling 3 vets that were closed early too and it was only a little after noon 15-20 minutes and the ONLY vet that said theyd take me even though they were closed

I highly recommend this clinic, they are kind, and most of all they know what they are doing. They got me and my little kitten right on in, the vet is very informative. And my number thing is the price is not that gawd aweful, I have been to vets that charge 100$ and up just to be seen, so 40$ ( base visit charge as of now) and up depending on what is done, is not that bad.

Our little Sophia was lifeless and needed to be seen immediately or she would not make it though the night. Dr Synder met us at his clinic to see her. He was doing everything to help her. She is better .But needs constant attention. She weighed 1.01 lbs .And was dehydrated. We will see him in the morning. Thank you ,Dr Snyder! The Hanlons.

Dr Snyder has always been amazing with our pets! He is also fantastic with our human daughter who shows her dog in 4H and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up. He always asks how she and her dog have done in 4H and is always giving us great tips to keep our dog happy and healthy while at the fairs. He is the best!!!!!!!

I think that quite a lot of people in the area know Dr Snyder as the first suggested Veterinarian to so many, and across so many generations within a family. Mike becomes part of your family in that way as well. The staff bust *** like no other! Very grateful to have him as my veterinarian (obviously lol)

The people at Cold Spring become very rude when you want to purchase your flea and heartworm medications online! I am on a fixed income and cant afford their high prices. I will go to another vet that doesnt care only about getting every dollar they can from me.
