My family has been coming to this doctor for over 10 years. I myself have never seen him in person and have always had to deal with some intern from another country or some new person to the staff because apparently they cant stand working for him from several comments I have heard over the years made by numerous employees. One week a few months ago around ( 08/16) I scheduled a regular check up since I have not been to the office in a good 8 to 12 months. It just so happens that in those 2 weeks between the time I made the appointment and the day I had to be their I was in a car accident fractured my wrist and hurt my neck. They began to prescribe me Belbuca a sublingual film that makes you want to vomit just by the smell in other words a brand new drug that some pharmaceutical company paid them to prescribe to people and some other pain relief pad for my neck I was thrilled cause at that point in time anything to remove the pain would be helpful. They electronically sent the prescription the the pharmacy of my choosing. Upon going to the pharmacy I was told since the drug was brand new and no laws or regulations have been placed in effect for these new drugs in the state of Florida they were not going to be covered under my insurance. Well the total for a neck pad and 12 bilingual pain strips was like 389 bucks. One day later I receive a letter in the mail stating that they will not cover these new medicines. So I take the letter to my Doctors office and ask for some medicine that my insurance will accept. They say no I am like sure no problem I just didnt buy the prescription and began buying street narcotics instead since they were 1/4 the price and better quality. Any way a few months go by and I am beginning to notice tale tale signs that I was becoming dependent on these opiates. So I began to do some research and found out about a drug called subutext / or suboxon. I scheduled a new check up and in the lobby of the Doctors office they had several brochures about suboxone. I finally get the guts to tell the doctor that I believe i am addicted to opiates and want help. The next day I get a phone call saying I can no longer be a patient there due to substance abuse problems. I was in shock!!!! why do you have a brochure in your main lobby for people seeking help and when they finally get the courage to do so you shut them down. Doctor Fiaz Rasual is a lazy Doctor that cares more about personal reputation and money than any patients health. I would not recommend anyone going to this doctors office specifically if you expect to see Dr. Rasual because he is never their.

Dr. Rasul is a very caring and compassionate doctor! He saved my wifes life. Several doctors said she had heartburn and indigestion and this and that. It turned out her gall bladder was the problem. Had she waited 3 more hours she would have died. She was only 38 at the time. He admitted her and had a surgeon ready to operate within 2 hours. One problem he does have is that he spends too much time with each patient. But, if you are one of those patients you dont complain.
