Initially I thought he was good and I had crown done in December 2015 and he did a good job. However today I went in for a basic cleaning and was hard sold on deep cleaning before I ever received my basic cleaning to show if the plaque would come off. Then when I told him I just want a basic cleaning, his hygienist never scraped my top teeth for plaque and was done in 10 minutes, She told me the doctor told her not to scrap for plaque on my top teeth. When i called him in he said thats no longer covered in a basic cleaning any longer. Appears he was pissed I didnt spend the money on the costly deep cleaning he recommended. He then referred me to a periodontist. Also this was his fourth different hygienist and 3rd receptionist in the 2 years I have been with him. Something appears to be wrong there. Update - I couldnt find my insurance card, so called the office the next day and ask for my policy number to use for the referral he had given me and they said I would be charged $25. 2nd Update - Since my visit, just over a week ago I now have received 2 bills, for photos and advice I never authorized totaling over $462. When all I went for was a basic cleaning and x-rays that is covered by insurance. I also since have gone to a second dentist for a proper cleaning and they verified I did NOT need to see a periodontist as Dr, Schmid suggested. They also verified I did not get a proper cleaning and significant plaque was left on my teeth. BE CAREFUL if you dont take his advice. looks like he will try to gouge on your bill and not do his job!!!.

The implants process continues. This visit was dedicated to actually do the implants (2), in other words, do the cavities where the bone grafting was previously done and insert the screws. After the implants are in, you are once again sewn up to allow for the osseointegration (intimate bonding between the titanium and the bone). Dr. Schmid and his assistant were meticulous; that is, continuously ensuring accuracy in every step of the process. They also took continuous measures to keep me comfortable. The end result of this somewhat lengthy process were two perfectly aligned implants as demonstrated by the x-ray. No care was or is spared! You are in good hands from the moment you arrive and are greeted by Tara, the office assistant.

I used to be Dr Colins patient, and when Dr Colin took ill, I learned he made great effort to find a replacement for himself, someone who has passion and technique. I came to know Dr Schmidt at Tango Dental and have been a very happy patient. Dr Schmidt is thorough, patient, gentle and sensitive to patients time and schedule. His office process is excellent, they remind me of my appointment via text, make sure I have the next appointment on my electronic calendar, and have every thing ready when I get there. I am impressed by their operation. I highly recommend him and I know you will thank me for it.

Dr. Federico Schmid-Hidalgo is one of the most thorough and caring dentists I have ever been to. I hadnt had a cleaning done in about two years, so when I visited him I had a lot of plaque build up behind my bottom front teeth, which he completely got rid of and even showed me pictures of the before and after! This doctor is extremely gentle and personable. He explained everything to me comprehensively and you can tell that he really loves what he does! I was exceptionally impressed with the quality of service I received and will most definitely be returning to him. I recommend him highly!

One of my veneers unexpectedly came off and I saw Dr. Schmid to glue it back into place. I have 6 veneers on my front teeth and for some reason ever since I got them the same one keeps popping off. Ive had so many problems with it and it was quite frustrating. I dont know what Dr. Schmid did differently than the 3 other dentist Ive seen but its been 6 months and my veneer is still securely in place!! I have to say this is the first Google review Ive ever written but felt that I should because of Dr. Schmids outstanding dental care!

I was on vacation and one of my veneers came off. I called to see if they could fit me in. The receptionist asked if I had insurance. I said yes. She the said the dentist would have to take an xray. I said I only needed help with a temporary glue until I could see my own dentisr. She said the dentist had to do an xray of the underlying tooth. What a scam artist! This Dr. Schmidt is trying to rip off my insurance and me instead of just helping me. Noone needs a con artist for a dentist.

I have been searching for a dentist that cares. I finally found one. Federico has the heart and knowledge that makes a his practice a perfect place for a family to feel comfortable. Caring about his patients is important to him. Why do I say this? Because he takes the time to explain what your dental needs are upon examination. My dental care responsibilities are his for as long as he will be able to care for my family.

After having several bad experiences at various dental offices, my friend referred me to Tango Dental and I love it. The staff there is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Schmid does excellent work. Ive since referred some of my friends and family there and theyre all very happy with it. If youre looking for an efficient dental office where they will make you feel comfortable, I recommend checking this place out.

I went to Dr. Schmids dental office while I was vacationing in Florida. I got an appointment over some concerns I had in my mouth. He treated me really good and resolved my problem quickly so I could get going with my vacation without any pain. The Doctor is also compassionate, nonjudgmental, handsome and even funny. I will visit again next time I visit Fort Lauderdale

What a rip off!!!! It cost me $55 and I didnt even get my teeth cleaned. They had the nerve to want me to come back and pay $840 for something else. Ha ha fat chance of that! He said he didnt have time to clean my teeth and thats what I came in there for.He had an ad for exam, xray and cleaning for $55.Dont be a sucker keep looking for another dentist.

Beware of this guy! I went to this place for a basic cleaning and was told I need a deeper cleaning which is not covered by insurance. Total Insurance Scam!! The office staff is all part of his act , the newbies havent catched on yet to his tricks and clearly show confusion on their faces as to why more X-rays ect. This guy is a total scam, stay away!
