I relocated back to Fort Lauderdale last year and was recommended to a dentist in the downtown area, near my former employment. I went for my initial visit, which included x-rays, cleaning, and an evaluation. I left this appointment with x-rays and a cleaning but also with an estimate for recommended procedures totaling $36,000 and a lecture from the dentist that my mouth needed a complete overhaul. I know I will never have the perfect smile, but the appearance of my smile is my choice; I was looking for a dentist to help me maintain healthy teeth and gums, not prepare me for glamour shots. Months later, I had some gums problems and searched the internet for a new dentist in the downtown area. Dr. Friedland had great reviews; however, I was nervous about contacting another dentist, but I am so glad that I did. From my first call to his office, I heard this wonderful, pleasant woman’s voice that instantly put me at ease. I came in, that same voice, which I now know is Ode, was still so friendly and helpful. Dr. Friedland evaluated, provided his recommendation, gave me a prescription for medicine, and I felt 10X better about that situation. In September, it was time for my next cleaning. Approximately 3 days prior to my appointment, I broke a tooth and contacted their office. Again, they welcomed my situation immediately. In addition to a needed intense cleaning, the tooth that broke had to be completely removed and prepped for an implant along with needing a root canal on another tooth. From the cleaning, this individual, I cannot remember her name, she is the best! I am not joking. My teeth felt really smooth and nice afterwards. She was so professional and kind that I am looking forward to my next cleaning to show her that I really followed her instructions and am hoping that my teeth and gums are now in great shape. In addition to Dr. Friedland’s expertise, I had two other great specialists in this office work on my root canal and broken tooth. They too were professional and have great personalities. And, I cannot say enough great things about Elvis, the dental assistant, she knows her job! For me, the overall environment and treating me well means everything. These dentists/specialists spoke with me and made sure I understood the procedures prior to starting the work, and I honestly trust them completely with my dental needs. All of these procedures within the last few months, I felt no pain; they took away all my nervousness by their knowledge and kindness in every step that was required. I now work way West off of Broward Blvd and Pine Island (a good distance from the East side or Federal Highway) and I will not transfer to another dentist. This is the office for me. They are real, professional, and exactly what humanity is about.

It was Friday morning and I had a toothache on a tooth that I broke months ago and needed a crown but was putting it off. It was finally hurting and I knew I didnt wanna spend my weekend in pain so I called about 30 dentists and everyone wasnt available or booked up. Some told me that they wont do a crown without doing a root canal first, but I saw an endodontist, a root canal specialist, who happened to be my uncle and I knew wouldnt tell me that I need something that I dont need, and he said that I didnt need a root canal. I found Seaside and saw their great reviews so I called and they were able to get me in that day. I spoke to Odi and she agreed that because I already saw an endodontist and knew my treatment plan that they would put a temporary crown on for a few weeks to see how I do. If all goes well, then they put the permanent crown on. Everyone at Seaside was very nice and helpful. Odi, Elvis, Sue, and Dr. Friedland who was very gentle. I didnt even feel the shot of Novacaine. I told him that I usually need 3 shots of Novacaine and he said that he uses stronger Novacaine like the oral surgeons use so he gave me one and was going to see if I needed more. Sure enough he was right and I only needed one. Elvis his assistant was also great. I warned her that Im not good with x-rays and every other dentist that Ive been to has a hard time getting them and I gag. When Elvis took my x-rays, she was excellent. It was very smooth and no gagging and she got it on the first try. She was also very pleasant and answered all of my questions. Well its been 5 days, and Ive been pain free. I need to go back for my permanent crown in a few weeks, and then after that Ill be sticking with Dr. Friedland as my regular dentist.

I have hated going to the dentist my entire life until now. I have sensitive teeth and gums. Visiting the dentist is usually a painful awful experience. I went to Dr. Friedlands office for the first time and I will never go to another dentist office for the rest of my life. I did not fee like I was at the dentist, I felt like I was hanging out with friends that I have known my entire life. Dr. Friedland and his staff are wonderful to be around. They were very cheerful and happy and you can tell they enjoy what they do and who they work with. Most importantly for me though, I barely was in any pain yet my teeth and gums were cleaned better than I have been used to in the past. The hygienist took her time and understood the sensitivity issues I have. I couldnt be happier that I switched to Dynamic Dental. In fact, I booked my next appointment for only 4 months out rather than waiting the normal 6. Most dentists have recommended that I do that but I never wanted to go back that soon for an awful experience. I love the feeling of clean teeth but hate the pain and now I dont have to worry about that. I will get to have that good clean teeth feeling 3 to 4 times a year now thanks to Dr. Friedland and his staff.

I would recommend Dr. Friedland and his staff to ANYONE. I am a grown woman with a massive fear of the dentist. I have a full blown panic attack requiring medication. I cry uncontrollably, I shake, I cant breathe. Its ridiculous, but its my reality. I went to the office yesterday for the first time after dealing with a massive throbbing toothache/mouth ache for 4 days. Regardless of my panic, nobody looked at me funny. Nobody gave me even the slightest hint of an attitude. They were beyond kind and understanding. The initial visit to have xrays of my problem area and to see Dr. Friedland was $69.00 and after calling around to other offices for a couple of days, I must say that is incredibly reasonable. In addition, when I called Monday morning to tell them what was going on and that I needed to be seen as soon as possible, they got me in the same day. Nobody else I called was willing to see me for several days and hardly any would give me a straight answer about the cost. So, whether youre fearful or not, I dont think you can go wrong with Dr. Friedland and his staff. Thank you all again for being so kind! :)
