I went there because it was under my insurance. The dentist was really nice and was willing to work with my schedule and gave me different options for my procedure, which i liked. Her assistant was very nice and helpful too. The reason why Im giving them 1 star was bc of the front desk and clerical staff. They didnt put the information correctly into the system and called my emergency contact to confirmed various scheduled appointments instead of me. When they were doing carecredit sign up, they went under the wrong portal, which delayed me getting services. I understand that could of been a mistake but what bothered me more than me getting delayed services, was that the manager belittled the staff infront of the customer. She should of taken the time to explain to her the mistake and taught her how to fix it for future customers. You could also tell that the front desk staff doesnt get along, which will cause them not to work together. I also had to pay $30 to get copies of my xrays and I was told I would receive them bf 12pm, which I needed them asap, and it was delayed, to the point I had to call multiple times to get them emailed. My procedure was going to cost me between 4,000 to 7,000 and if they can not get the initial paperwork right, it left me feeling insecure that the rest of the procedure could go along smoothly. While I was at my appointment there was also a customer getting a check up done, and he left after 5 minutes of being in the chair yelling at them for doing something incorrect. I dont know the details but as a first time customer this brought my confident level down. I wouldnt recommend going to them until, or if you do go, make sure they enter all of your paper work properly

Keep away from this tooth farm! I found this place through my insurance provider, and it has a professional and alluring sounding name "Bayview Dental." Synopsis: My first and only cleaning at this facility:" The dentist who greeted me, said that I needed xrays and a 3d scan. Okay, I thought - that seems normal. No big deal. The problem came, when he handed me off to a new dental hygienist who spoke 3 words of English: 1. Hi, 2. You, 3. Yes. At least, thats all I heard. And thats fine, if she knew what she was doing. No. You know those ultra-high water pressure ultrasonic scalers that blast through plaque, that are supposed to be used only to clean plaque at the roots? Yeah - well - after she was done cleaning my bottom row of teeth, she took the device and went over the TIPS OF MY TEETH! I had no clue what this clown was doing, until I felt grit in my mouth. That grit was the enamel she blasted off of my teeth. She went over and over and over the tips of my front teeth from different angles. Thats EXACTLY the same (in fact worse) as taking a stainless steel scaler and grinding off the top of your teeth. I told her to stop, and she just smiled yes and kept going - I had to move her hand away from my mouth to get her to stop. When I looked in the mirror, it was immediately clear that my front teeth were chipped away at the tips. I tasted the grit from the enamel of my teeth for a week. This woman may have graduated (if at all) from Bobs Phlebotomy and Hygienist school, a diploma mill run out of the back of a cargo van. I complained and was told that a dentist or someone would contact me. They never did. Do yourself a favor, keep far far away from Bayview Dental.

I tried them because they take my insurance and they were close to my job. When I showed up for my appt they said that on the first visit they only take xrays and make the second appt for a cleaning. Because I have braces, which I told them when I made the appointment they said they could not take the xrays, but still refused to do my cleaning. They billed my insurance for a routine visit even tho they did nothing! They set up the cleaning appt and when I showed up, the girl who did the cleaning did not know what she was doing and must have been new, She couldnt figure out how to hold all the equipment in her hand while doing my teeth and ended up spraying tons on water repeatedly in my face. The cleaning was also uncomfortable and not very thourough. She did not floss my teeth either. When you wear braces, cleaning on your own becomes harder and you look forward to a good cleaning and flossing from the dentist...which I never got. I never saw a single dentist at Bayview dental because they said if I wanted to see him I needed to make another appointment and come in because he does not do cleanings! I never went back. Ive treid to get some of my "routine visit" $ back as well, which they are fighting :(. Stay away from them, they will not take care of your teeth or care about you at all.

First off, the dentist that I seen and the people working there are extremely rude...They need lessons in customer service and dealing with people.....They did not agree with any of the pricing on my insurance plan, granted it is just an add on to my Vista Health Plan, but it still has fixed rates and no matter what it was, they did not seem to understand that they were supposed to agree with these rates if they are willing to accept the insurance card...... Dont accept the card in the first place if you are not going to honor the rates.....Anyhow, to make a long story short...My plan has an extraction for $60.00....I was in so much pain and I needed the tooth out that day, they took advantage of this and needless to say, I left with my tooth extracted and I had to pay $280.00...Figure that one out...They knew I was in pain and needed the immediate help and they took advantage of it....I am also supposed to get a full set of X-Rays and a cleaning for $5.00 each with my plan....They would not do the cleaning unless I agreed on paying for it and they took 5 X-Rays.....And I still paid an additional $15.00 for the X-Rays on top of the extraction....Tell me these people arent out for the money!!...Dentists like this should not be able to be dentists...Simple as that....

After 15 years finally realized this place was a ripoff. They constantly told me (practically forcing) that I needed extra cleanings and "deep debrivement" for excess plaque; neither of which was covered by my dental insurance. Recently was quoted $215 for a simple bonding and was told there was a cancellation so they could do it in two days. I think they wanted me in quick before I could change my mind. I found out from my dental insurance company that they were going to charge for two procedures that were NOT covered by the insurance. They would not explain to me why I needed desensitising ($80) and irrigation ($50). I went to another dentist on my plan that did the work for $65.

My family and I have been patients of Bayview Dental Associaties for several years and spent almost $9,000. Recently, my son had a full mouth x-ray which my insurance company did not cover because they only pay for it once every three years. When I received the bill I called the office to find out why they felt it was necessary to do the x-ray since the insurance company did not cover it. I have not received an explanation, just threats that if I dont pay a balance of $63 then they would refer my account to a collection agency. I think this is a cold and indifferent dental practice that seems to by primarily after your money.
