My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Hughes for 4 years and we love, love, love him. But as his practice has grown, the office staff has become very incompetent. I always show up on time or early for my appointments and have to wait at least 45 minutes past my appointment time to be called in. I know Dr. Hughes runs on a schedule, but so do I. I had to rush off at the end of my last appointment because his running late made ME run late. I cant plan my day around his running behind on his schedule. Maybe hes trying to see too many people in one day? Ive worked for a doctor, and I know its possible to have emergencies that throw your whole day off, but this is becoming consistent. Every time I phone the office Im put on hold, and often Im on hold so long that the line disconnects and I have to call back only to be put on hold again. Usually I only call to get a prescription refilled, so I think from now on Ill stop by in-person so I can actually speak face-to-face with someone instead of waiting on "forget" until I get the dial tone. ~ Margo Gripp

Dr. Hughes and his staff are genuine and sincere, they all care about the patients health and comfort! I dont have insurance and pay cash and 1 time I needed a test done and did not have the money they did the test anyways and put me on a payment plan! What other Doctors office would do that? Not many! I also had to call them on a Friday night around 7 and within 5 minutes Allison Fleig called me back and helped with my issue. Allison is great and together they run a great practice and make a great team. I recommend Dr.Hughes Family Practice to my friends and family. I have nothing bad to say about this Doctor and his staff.

Ive been a client of Dr. Hughes for several years. Both he and Allison are very caring and very thorough. Yes, it is frustrating at times to wait. However, the reason I see this team is because they take their time, listen, and treat you as an individual. Some of the other specialists I see are on a 10 minute appointment schedule, regardless of what is wrong, you are out in ten minutes. These doctors are always on time, but is that really the best when your taking care of your health.

All of them are attentive even though their practice is one of busiest Ive ever seen. Dr Hughes himself knows, takes time to know, his patients and that makes it all worth a grade of A+ The negative reviews on here about "wait times" is usually due to emergencies going on in one of the rooms in the back that you have NO CLUE thats going on. Its the staff in views job to maintain composure. They have no control over time. The time you are waiting is Dr Hughes assuring a patients safety!

Terrible experience - Waited for 1 hour. Staff disregards you when you are upset because you waited 1/2 hour past your apt time. I left after an hour and fifteen minutes. I was there early too as they requested to do paperwork. I probably will get a bill too. They will probably not forget to send that. Very unprofessional . Good place to go if you an hour to kill.

Love Allison. She is the first doctor that has taken the time to listen to all my concerns and questions then lets me know her suggestions. I will not see any other doctor but her from now on. All the staff has always been so helpful and polite. I recommend all my friends to use Dr. Hughes family practice specially Mrs. Allison.

Dr. Hughes is a caring, compassionate, and thorough physician. I often refer patients to his practice, as I know they will get the medical care they need. He’s also my primary care provider. Can’t say enough regarding the way Dr. Hughes treats his patients and practices medicine.

I generally wait less than ten minutes for a scheduled appointment, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Hughes is the best...I moved out of the area so now drive over an hour to see him, but it certainly is worth the trip. He has helped me live a better life.

If you enjoy waiting over an hour and a half for your "appoitment", this is your place! Keep in mind that if your late by 15 min, you lose your appointment and still get charged. What a joke.
