The birth of my son was the worst experience of my life because of Dr. Digiacomo. I had never meet his before this day and I was 39 weeks and 6 days pregnant when I need to get his consent to have my baby at the birth center with mid wife. I had been having borderline blood pressure problems but every time they did an ultrasound on me everything was great. I had no protein in my urine, which was what they where looking for to determine if I had preeclampsia. So here I am as you can see meeting the doctor who will allow me to have my baby how I always dreamed of. I was obviously a bit nervous for that reason. Dr. Digiacomo took one look at my chart and ask to take my blood pressure at the time. It was like 7 pm at night after an all day appointment, ultrasound and a 3 hour wait for him. I suddenly had a high blood pressure reading of 160 something and the more they would take it the higher it would go. He then said to me and my husband you will have to go to the hospital now and have a c-section because if you dont you and the baby can die. I was taken back by this and said but how can that be. I feel fin and I just had an ultrasound that said he was fin. Can you at lest check me and see if I am dilated to try to have him. He took a look at my stomach touched it and said " there is no way your going to be able to have that baby naturally. He weighs about 10 pounds". This was surprising to me because the ultrasound I had just had 3 hours ago said my baby weighed 7 pounds. He then check me for dilation in the most ruff way and said I was only two centimeters and would not be able to have this baby naturally. I had by this time a river of tears coming down my face but he did not care. After him scaring my husband like that I had no choice but to get the c-section done. What a bad way to go into the birth of your child. I recommend to all to STAY AWAY FROM DR. DIGIACOMO!

Unless you dont mind the unfriendly staff and cold hearted Dr. then stay way from this office. My first visit was very unpleasant. The staff kept treating me like an insurance instead of a human being I probably heard the word insurance 20 times for every question I asked.. Yes I am a MEDICAID patient! however that shouldnt be an issue in any office.. I work in the medical field and I treat my patient the same regardless of their insurance. This would be my second child and I dont want to have anymore kids. so there was a point where I asked the Dr. what would be the best choice for prevention and she did tell me about surgery. I asked if she could do it right away after the baby was born. she said in an imposed voice NO! she didnt give any other advice or choice, so i said why is that ,cause i know the procedure could be done after birth. She looked upset and finally told me that my INSURANCE wouldnt cover everything at once.. that i needed to wait 3 to 4 weeks. So I explained that the second child was because i procrastinated to the surgery. I asked if i can pay for the surgery and what was the fee? She then with hypocrite or bothered by my questions.. Said WELL COULD YOU AFFORD THAT? I took very unprofessional and rude and offensive. I took it like she assumed sense i have MEDICAID why dare ask what was the fee. I dont think is her business if I can afford something or not and YES I can.. Anyways i had very bad vibe in this office...I will drive broward to dade going back to my old Dr.

STAY AWAY .I was very dissatisfied with this doctor.I had an unplanned pregnancy at the age of 43 years of age.I started to except the fact that I was going to be a mother again and was aware of the risk.I started to have some bleeding After my first visit to the office.I went into the office for answers.The first thing this doctor tells me is that I am most likely going to loose my child because basically to old to carry a child.I went back a second time after more bleeding then was told to stay home and miscarry instead of returning to the office or emergency room at that moment I know that this doctor had no compassion.I know that I was dealing with a heartless individual.I went home and put myself on bed rest because I know that I truly wanted my baby.I had enough since to know that I shouldnt have been doing anything that would stress my body.I was told to just go about my business and bleed to death at home if necessary.I had a miscarriage in the past and I was admitted to the hospital for antibiotics after as well as a D and C,I assume if you are over the age of 35 dont go there he treat you like you are useless or a non factor.I did give birth to a healthy baby boy 6lbs 8oz.Although I did have some minor problems,my new supportive OB doctor was there with me step by step addressing my every concern.

This is the wrost Doctor Ive ever to my first visit was horrible. He sent me to have a vaginal ultrasound And I bled for 20 days My hcg was taken and on June 25 it was 12000 MY Next Appointment Was July 28 I Was supposed to get an ultrasound but when I got there I was told that its more likely that theres not a living baby in me based on your my HCG On June 25th I told him how could you base that on something that was a month ago and if you feel that way why not check me if he said there is nothing I can do Im going to have your your blood taking and then you can go home make sure to get your referral at the front desk that was it nothing else was said after he told me my babY may not be alive his name is Dr.Digiacomo in the staff are horrible they are very disrespectful. I went to the hospital to check on my baby And my baby is fine I have a living baby

We went to Dr D and Birth Center for the birth of our first child. The staff was excellent, we have nothing but praise for Lynn and her staff. Dr D is straight forward and direct with his assessments, but with a comical at ease side that puts things into perspective. We tried to have a natural birth with Shannon and Mandy but ended up having to do a C-section because we were overdue and didnt dialate at 41 weeks, along with some infrecuente movements. Dr D did our C-section at Hosp. With near perfect results. I still cant find the scar. We are really grateful and glad to have found this Dr and his Birth Center to deliver our baby boy.

I wish I knew who the people below me were talking about because they couldnt be talking about Dr. Digiacomo. He is an amazing doctor and all the staff in his office are very kind. He delivered my sisters daughter as well as a friends two kids & a coworkers three children and he will be delivering my daughter as well. He is very straight forward & if you cant appreciate that then maybe youre just a bit too sensitive ;) but he definitely knows what hes doing and I would recommend him to anybody!
