This office does not value your time, if you come for appointment prepare to wait for at least 2 hours. And the later your appointment in the afternoon the longer you will have to wait. One person is scheduled every 10 minutes. So you can imagine the wait times. Im only coming here is to complete my second pregnancy. Will look for another office right after. Now, Helen Spalding runs extremely late. Going to the weekly appointments at the end of the pregnancy is no fun and waiting for 1,5-2 hours is even worse. My last appointment before giving birth was no different. I waited for Spalding from 4-6, she walks in the office and says that she is not going to measure me or check for dilation because she is very busy and needs to finish her work day....Are you kidding me? I work full time and need to know on how to plan my upcoming days. So, my water broke and I went into labor the next day, and I thank god that she wasnt on call. Why did I have to wait for her for two hours for her to literally walk in the room and walk out? I wasted two hours waiting for her and then she charges my insurance company for a long visit of 45 minutes.... Totally unacceptable.......

I received their information from someone I trust, and Im sorry to say that it turned out to be a terrible experience. It was almost impossible to make an appointment i registered on the patient portal as their automated system suggested and didnt get a call until 5 days later. In the mean time I tried to call the number again and dialed every option possible to speak to a human being but was told that all the extensions were wrong even tho it was only option 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6. When I finally visited the office at the appointment time at 9 in the morning I waited no less than 2 hours until I was finally called to be weighted. I waited for another 30 minutes after that and decided to leave because it was just too ridiculous. When I went back to the front to ask how much longer the lady sitting by the exit literally told me you can leave if youd like I cant speed things up with a grumpy attitude without even looking up at me. I cant imagine how theyd treat their existing patients if thats how they treat new patients. Im never going back.

I have been coming to this office for a long time and now and am coming for my first pregnancy. I absolutely adore Dr. Spalding. She is amazing and has always made me feel comfortable. I also love Joanne in charge of sonograms. She is spunky and a lot of fun to be around. Mary is also amazing, as she always gets back to me when I have questions on the phone and always makes me aware if she needs more time to get an answer from my doctors. The cons of this office lie in the waiting time, average of an hour and a half, and the feeling you get from the office staff, you do not feel as if you are a priority, and find them gossiping about someone often. I love coming here because of my docotors, but planning for an hour and half appoitment is not welcoming, and seeing the staff gossip away is in my opinion, unprofessional. I will admit I feel uncomfortable approaching them with questions when they are in the middle of conversations.

The office is pretty and Dr. Echavarria is great but thats where it ends. Im 26 weeks pregnant and Dr. E delivered my last baby so even though the office is run horribly, I decided to return and give them another try. Sad to say, things have not changed. The office is still run horribly and a patients time is not valued. I had an appointment this morning for 9am. There were few patients yet it took them 45 minutes to call me from the outer waiting room to the inner waiting room, then another 30 mins for them to call me to the nurses station to simply weigh me and take my blood pressure. Then I was placed in a room and it took another 30 minutes to be seen by the doctor. I didnt leave their office until 12noon and this was a routine/monthly OB visit with no complications and/or special testing done. Im a busy attorney and if I treated my clients this way, my practice would be non-existent. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

The staff (front and back) needs a lot of work. Good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. Standing right in front of the staff they complain about answering the phone and let it ring. They come to work sick and sniffling!! As a pregnant woman, thats the last thing you think you would see at ur doctors office. Doing right by the patient is not important to the office staff. Change your recording, it talks about a phone system implemented in may, we are in Jan! Get your practice to sign checks faster and bill accurately. Even your staff says the process is broken. 6 weeks from the insurance pay date is not acceptable when your staff takes forever to get the codes right. Also verify insurance in advance, it would save you all a ton of time. Train your people and fix moral because patients are seeing terrible service and you are losing patients right and left.

The doctor is good. His staff is absolutely horrible. Long wait times in office playing musical chairs. Long wait times on the phones 15-30 min at a time. When you are able to speak to a nurse they are in such a rush and cut you off every sentence trying to get your information. They never call you back and in the office I was there 2 hours and they did no bloodwork just an ultrasound and it took that long HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Looking for a new OBGYN. This is the Miramar office

Staff is friendly. The wait time for a basic exam is uncalled for. Spent about 30 mins in the main waiting room. Brought into to have weight and BP checked only to wait in the second waiting room for another 30 mins. Finally brought into an exam room only to wait some more. This is my 4th and last time coming to this office. Having an appointment at 9:50am and still not had an exam completed by 12:00pm is completely unacceptable.

I am so unhappy right now I ve knowned Dr. Weiss for over 10yrs and he took care of me when,I was very sick and I will for ever be graeatful. I am coming back because I trust him and feel very comfortable,. but to call the Hollywood office Ive been trying for two days to speak to someone to give them my new insurance information.

Ive been going to this office for 6 years and have nothing but fantastic things to say about the doctors. BUT Lord help you if you need to make an appointment!!! It is impossible! 40 mins on hold waiting to make an appointment! That is just unacceptable
