When I first moved to Miami I started going to a doctor in Boca, everything was fine, but I was driving all the way to Boca from Miami. My friend recommended Dr. Levin and from the second we met I knew the hour drives up north, were over! I was 7 weeks pregnant the first time I called the office and was able to get an appointment that same week. My husband came with me to the appointment and as we were walking out of the office he too had decided Levin would be our doctor moving forward… that, sealed the deal. I continued with my appointments and always felt comfortable calling in with questions, making appointments, and walking in with my notepad of questions I had for the doctor. I was having my first child and I could not be more content meeting after meeting; my husband and the doctor would throw jokes back and forth and I was building a friendship with the staff, after all they were all by my side during the most important and happy time in my life. The day had come, I felt something weird so I did what I do best, I called Levin…. he advised I go to see him. I got to his office and was checked and sure enough had to go to the hospital right away, however I would no longer be able to make it to Memorial Regional where I had pre-registered, so we went straight to North Shore Medical Center. Levin arrived to the hospital and the process started, I had a natural birth and the entire labor was extremely relaxed, not an ounce of stress; the staff, doctor, my husband and I were all conversing as if we were in my living room, with lots of contractions and several pauses in conversation to remind me to push and breath of course… I have since gone back and introduced my baby to the office, and for a couple of follow up appointments; I continue to feel the way I did when I first entered the office. I recommend Dr Levin to anyone looking for an honest and straightforward doctor with the best staff a woman/expecting mother could ever ask for!

My husband and I had finally decided to try and conceive a baby. I read many reviews online to find a right doctor to be my future obgyn. I also looked at the list of obgyns in my insurance network. Finally I decided to try and make an appointment with dr. Levin. I called his office, and a very rude lady picked up the phone. She did not properly greet me, asked my name and insurance with a very annoyed voice. After that she put me on hold. I was on hold for a long time before another lady picked up the phone and asked me: "who do you want to speak with?". I explained that I am a new patient and I am trying to make an appointment. She got very surprised, and said that she is not sure why I was placed on hold to make an appointment. Nevertheless, she also put me on hold. After several minutes of being on hold I got connected to an answering machine of some Doctor. So, I was not able to make an appointment. I called 2 more times after that, and no one picked up the phone. No need to say, I am not going to allow these people to have anything to do with my first pregnancy. I expect my doctor and his staff to be friendly, answer phones during business hours, be professional, and caring. I am not sure how I would feel if I was pregnant trying to desperately make an appointment with dr. Levin..or even worse, trying to notify him that I am in labor. I happily made an appointment with another doctor in the area..who also has wonderful reviews. His receptionist got very happy when I told her that I want to try to conceive. She scheduled an appointment for the next week, and it only took her 3 minutes. Truth is, receptionists at obgyn offices see pregnant women every day, and they dont really feel excited anymore..Yet, it is common sense and simple politeness to be nice, speak with a soft voice, and at least pretend to be happy for every patient. It is a special moment for every woman. Dr. Levins receptionists need some training.

From day one I have been in love with this office. Dr. Levin and Dr. Alvarez are the best. I cannot speak for other people but they saved my life and my childs life. I was having a rough pregnancy and I had to see Dr. Alvarez once a week from week 16 to week 36. He was always there and never rushed me. We sat down for talks before anything was done (ultrasound, exam, blood work, etc.). I was afraid that my baby was not going to make it because of the complications but Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Levin made sure I understood what was going on and they also made sure I was comfortable. Needless to say my baby was delivered by emergency c-section but he was just fine. Before the procedure Dr. Levin was at the hospital fast and when he got there he made sure I was not afraid because this was new to me. I felt so much better knowing that I had the two of them supporting me and making me feel good. They do not know that they are angels and they blessed me in so many ways. I will never forget the love that they showed me and that they are still showing me. I told them that I will never stop going to this office. Even when I called after hours I was greeted nicely and they still were patient with me. Let me not forget that the office staff are the best also. I know that they have to be the best because they work for the best. Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Levin thank you so much. I love you guys.

Dr. Levin is wonderful. Very detailed and direct. He takes baby business and the health of the patient and baby very serious including helping you stay on top of your nutrition and fitness during pregnancy to give you the most optimal pregnancy, delivery and post partum. He is also very nice and charming and has great bedside manner. He also knows whats best for you post partum so do what he says, you will be thankful later. Dr. Joan Alvarez is awesome. He has WONDERFUL bedside manner. He has a great sense of humor and is very patient. He also is very direct. Very nice and charming as well. He was VERY detailed with me about my care and options and respected ALL my decisions along the way. He was VERY patient with me and respected my BIRTH PLAN! The nurses are all very sweet and nice. The front desk is also very pleasant. Very easy to get in touch with them and make appointments. Follow-up and reminders Good! The office is zen. I came into the practice 33 weeks when no one else would take me. I got VERY lucky! I will remain with Dr. Alvarez now for gyno. GOD Bless You All. GOD Bless all the Babies and the Dr.s who deliver them!

Excellent, Professional and Caring- Dr Levin took care of me during my pregnancy. I had another DR before with my first baby and changed to Dr Levin to experience an excellent atmosphere in his office, and a very caring and extremely knowledgeable Dr. I had to be a C-section since my first baby was delivered 1 year and a half ago byC-section and I could not be happier with the results. Dr Levin took time with me to answer all my questions (I had many), and made me feel very calm and confident. He is compassionate and made this pregnancy a real joy to our family. His office staff is very helpful and there is little waiting time. After having the baby I had a Mirena (IUD) placed in. I was afraid that the procedure would be painful, but Dr Levin did it very quick and with such a skill that I only felt a little discomfort and that was all. I would recommend this DR for sure!!
