Bought glasses here...or so I thought. I was helped by an older man named John. I had to get through a number of uncomfortable silences and had to fake laugh at a bunch of lame jokes before getting to the bottom line. I paid with my debit card. The next day I receive a voicemail saying they were calling me "again" to let me know my order has been canceled because they rang me up as cash instead of credit. Um, news to me because I never got a call originally. I canceled my order. Then I continue to get calls, texts and voicemails saying my glasses are ready for pickup after my order had been canceled. When I call back with questions the phone just goes to dead air. Finally, after too much effort, spoke to a manager named Ginger who is utterly clueless as to whats going on. She set an expectation for follow up without ever actually coming through. It wasnt until I spoke to their general manager Monica before anyone could explain what went wrong initially and why I continued to be harassed with calls, voicemails and texts. Theres another LensCrafters up the road on Southside Blvd. Go there instead if you dont want to have your time royally wasted.

Just had the best eye exam and lens purchasing experience in years. I tried the one at Town Center first thinking "hey its town center - must be better right?" Nope. That was the *worst* experience ive had in years. Their whole office took turns lambasting me for not forking over extra cash for their techno-whatever instead of getting a good old-fashioned dilation. Even the doctor, a rather large red-haired lady with pursed lips and a pissed-off look on her face, came out and gave me crap for not purchasing theirs. In any case, the one at the Avenues was WORLDS apart - every single person in there - the physicians assistants, the front office staff, Paige and the guy who does the actual lenscrafting were exceptional. Dr. Jon Walker is quirky and hilarious and made the exam fly by. The entire staff was extraordinarily pleasant, questions about insurance were quickly resolved, and I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks. From an eye appt! Thank you for making my day.

Trying to run an insurance scam. I went in for an eye exam and I provided my vision insurance card. Next thing I know Im being asked for my medical insurance card that they need to keep on file. Who ever heard of such b.s. After explaining that I would not provide my medical information because I was only there for an eye exam I left. If I have a medical condition where I need to see a doctor I would go see a specialist and not some guy in the mall.

PealVision and LensCrafter are the McDonalds of vision: fast, not really cheap and horrible quality. Go to a serious optometrist instead, i went many times to either one to get my prescription and they never get it right.

I had a good experience, maybe they have changed staff? They were all polite, my glasses were done quickly and they were less expensive than the last pair I had purchased.
