Maxim is understaffed for CNA in-home services. Nice staff but not enough people available to reliably cover commitments. This company will not pay overtime so cant allow workers to work more than 40 hours. End result as a customer is that when a regularly scheduled person calls out sick etc. the staffing office cant find a replacement. I do not recommend contracting with this company for in-home services since the family is too often left holding the ball and realigning personal resources at the last minute to cover care needs for loved ones.

Great Company! Ive worked with Maxim for 3+ years now and were constantly striving to provide the most competitive and caring nursing services in Jacksonville. We provide tons of hands on training for our caregivers and require 1 year of working experience from all of our nurses before being hired. Ive enjoyed getting to know families and caregivers throughout my time with Maxim and Im always appreciative that they choose us to be their homecare provider.
