I had came down to Lake Wales from Seattle to visit with my mom, the yearly vacation. As fate would have it, I re-injured my lower back 5 days before traveling. 7 hours of airplane seats later and I arrived in a terrible state. To my good fortune, my mom said she had a chiropractor she really liked, made a call, and he was able to see me the next morning. Now, my spinal problems have been chronic for about 20 years. It isnt exactly a simple situation. When I met Dr. Faro, I was immediately impressed with the genuine concern in his eyes. He knew I was hurting and wanted to help. I was also impressed with his diagnostic-investigative procedure. He wanted to make sure he knew exactly what he was dealing with and he didnt short cut a thing. He was spot on. Over the course of the next 4 visits, he achieved fantastic results. He reduced the Sciatic nerve pain by half in my hip and lower leg, got me standing nearly straight, and even got L5 to release from where I had gotten it hung up. Thats some pretty awesome work over the course of 6 days! Dr. Faros staff is top notch, Debbie is professional, friendly, and true sweetheart. Juana is always bubbly and did a fantastic job helping me with E-stim (and I dont like electrotherapy ;-) ). Anthony....Thank you a ton!!! Thank you for the care, the concern, AND the relief. I cant wait to see you and your staff again next year!

I am an athlete who has dealt with all kinds of structual issues over the past 15 years. One of the things that has given me the most trouble was a disk injury I sustained in my back. As I got older this became increasingly uncomfortable and began affecting other areas of my musculoskeletal system. My in-laws referred me to Dr. Faro becasue I was having trouble sleeping at night. From day 1 with Dr. Faro and his staff I knew they cared and really wanted to find the casue of my pain. Over the past year I have been more comfortable than at any other point since I sustained this injury. No surgery, no pills, just problem solving. The theraputic massage from Kelly Faro is extremely effective and she has an extensive knowledge of the muscualr system. This is not simply a "feel-good" massage, this is real therapy that really relieves pressure and pain; Dr. Faros expertise in the skeleton and getting everything lined up has always impressed me. My visits allow me to sleep well and experience minimal pain throughout the day. At alternative care they treat the cause of the symptoms and not simply the symptoms. I cannot reccomend alternative care highly enough.

I have only the highest of praise for Dr. Faro and the whole staff at Alternative Care. Dr. Faro has treated me holistically and helped me find relief for many digestive issues I have struggled with for over 10 years. He looked at my diet, exercise, family and personal health histories and set a plan in place that has been life changing to say the least. We made some pretty major adjustments to what I do and do not eat, as well as adding in supplements. I feel better than I have in over a decade, have lost 16 pounds and have been free of any stomach pain and discomfort for nearly 6 months now. Kellie is the best massage therapist Ive ever seen. She is truly amazing at what she does. Love her! And Debbie is the most pleasant office manager that ever there was... always joyful. The atmosphere in the office is always pleasant. I can not rate Dr. Faro, Kellie and this staff high enough!

I have been a patient of Dr. Faro for over 14yrs. Alternative Cares staff is very professional and cares about there patients. The friendly atmosphere is great. Dr. Faro takes the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of his profession to ensure that I completely understand step by step of what has to be done. He has kept me from having to have back surgery. He overall is the best at what he does! I use his supplements daily and they work better than any over the counter drug that you would buy at a drug store. If you need to see a chiropractor I very strongly recommend Alternative Care because there truly is no better wellness center than this one. I am also a patient of Kelly. She is hands down the best massage therapist there is. If you need a massage, shes the one you need to see!
