I started out with Dr. Nieves because she was close to my work. From my first call to their office I was very impressed with the professional and friendly manner of the staff scheduling my appointment. I found that the dentist, Dr. Nieves, was just as kind and did everything she could to make sure I was comfortable throughout my exam. I returned after that first exam to have a complicated extraction, and the doctor and staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and comfortable throughout the procedure. You will be very pleased with the level of care you receive at Highlands Lakes Dental. Sadly, I am now having to locate another dentist because they do not take my Humana dental plan, otherwise I would be happy to continue with Dr. Nieves.

The doctor is pretty good but her staff not so much. If I am given a billed amount and pay said bill up front, there should never be a "balance". When I call to get clarification Im told what I paid was an estimate but that is NOT what was said to me when I paid them. Maybe if that was clarified in one of the THREE visits I had but NO it was not. Everytime I went was heres what is due so that is what I paid and that is ALL that I will pay. Only go here if you like surprise bills months after youve been seen.

I highly recommend Dr.Nieves and her team. They are absolutely wonderful, and very patient. I had not been to a dentist in a number of years and was extremely nervous. They were gentle, took their time, and listened to my concerns. I highly recommend them, even without insurance the cost was extremely reasonable. I am so happy to have found them!!

Dr. Nieves and staff are great. They are super friendly and accommodating. My family and I followed her and her team from her prior practice because of her exceptional care, especially with a couple of family members with particular needs. I highly recommend this practice and refer any one who asks about a great dentist.
