Going to the Mitchells is like a trip to a specialized spa from the time you walk in the door. The front staff are so pleasant, treat you like family, and work with your busy schedule, creating a calm atmosphere. April Fox is my Hygenist, and she is nothing short of amazing! She gives the most gentle cleaning Ive ever had to the point that I wholeheartedly recommend her to any adult or child who even slightly squirms at the thought of the dentist - no, seriously, I know some people dread cleanings, and even THEY could fall asleep in her chair! She keeps the sonic scaler very low (no climbing the walls) and her sweet, cheerful voice keeps you relaxed and happy. She also thinks of all the small niceties (glasses, lip balm, blanket, good suction, etc) to really make your experience exceptional. Dr. Yolanda is very kind and practical-minded. Not only does she stepwise get you through your current woes, she is also vigilant about any developing problems and what I can do at home between visits to prevent them. When I ask about more cosmetic dentistry (whitening, straightening), she gives me the full rundown of what the procedures and prices will be, if I actually need it or if it can wait, and most importantly, lets ME decide. This is the most thorough, whole-body wellness, medically-minded dental exam I have ever had (because so much of your heath is affected by and can be evaluated from your mouth, as I have learned from them)! Even with difficult patients, she is patient, diligent, and adjusts a typical checkup to their comfort and heath needs. I feel so well cared for with this practice, and I rest assured that my family is, too.

I have been going to Dr. Jim Mitchell since 1988 . That in , and of itself, speaks volumes . He has done everything from cleanings to cavities to crowns . I had bad experiences with Dentists growing up . One shattered a tooth in my mouth and plunged the drill bit into the nerve canal. As you can imagine , trust was a problem I needed to overcome . Dr. Mitchell with his chairside manor and calm explanation of his procedure won me over slowly. I would grip the arms of the chair so hard my knuckles would turn white and Id leave permanent impressions . Today.... my last amalgam was removed and a crown made in office ( In less than 30 mins !!! ) by his high tech CERAC machine. All with my arms folded in my lap !! I now live in West Palm Beach and travel 145 miles across the state to have my dental work done. While in New York several years ago , I had an emergency and went to someone else . That Dr. commented that he had done the most perfect " Text book Dentistry " that hed EVER seen . Its his manner and consistent attention to detail that sets him far and away from any other dentist on the planet as far as Im concerned ........ Five stars is not near enough for this man , but all this site will allow. If you are fortunate enough receive his services .....you too will agree .

After moving to FL in 2008 and going to 2 different dentists, I was dissatisfied. Then I researched and found Mitchell Dentistry. As I have told the staff at the practice, my experience with them has been nothing short of spectacular. I have had comprehensive examinations, including the opportunity to ask questions and time allotted for explanation, 5 crowns replaced (with the latest innovative computer aided equipment and no need for temporary crowns), and complete and gentle cleanings by Certified Dental Hygienist, April. The experience at Mitchell Dentistry has motivated me to recommend the practice to many of my friends, who, like me, appreciate not only the professionalism and respect for the patient, but also the overall friendly and helpful responses from all of the personnel. Dr. Joe has exceeded all my expectations, which were very high, based on my past experience with my dentist in Ohio.

After having worked with the Mitchells in a professional capacity for more than a year, I decided to take the plunge and book an appointment. I already knew Dr. Jim, Dr. Yolanda and Dr. Joe to be courteous, experienced and skilled at what they do, but I was still pleasantly surprised once I became a patient. From the moment you walk in the office, you feel like youre the only patient there. The level of customer service is unparalleled and the staff is both friendly and extremely competent. My teeth cleaning was thorough and my discussion with Dr. Joe was informative. I was surprised by a few of the cleaning procedures, because I had never had such an comprehensive exam by any other dentist! One of the best decisions Ive made was to let the Mitchells care for my teeth and I know Im in good hands!

We returned to Florida after living elsewhere for 14 years and also returned to Mitchell Dentistry which was as expected a positive dental experience, including having maintained my old records in order to observe all the changes in my teeth that occurred over the last 14 years. Dr. Mitchell, the dental assistant and dental hygienist are all knowledgeable, professional, thorough and at the same time provide a very comfortable and relaxing environment for me, the patient. I was also pleased with the advances in x-ray equipment that allows my dental team to be able to determine the condition of my teeth, bone and soft tissue so that they can provide the best treatment and care possible. When you lose a cap off your front tooth, you are looking forward to seeing your dentist. I had tried to stick it back on -- my efforts lasted 2 hours. I was ready! To be truthful, I knew that my caps and crowns were on borrowed time. They had outlived their warranty -- of course, they didnt have one of those anyway. After a visit from the friendly accountant, I decided that I was worth it. Then, I upset the schedule they might have had and they did what seemed appropriate to do. I was very thankful for what they did to accommodate my needs. It is wonderful to be able to trust a whole group of folks helping me keep smiling. Thank you.

Everyone at Mitchell Dentistry exudes a "friendly" ,, "supportive" and "compassionate" office environment . While the expertise of their dentists is the best in the area, its also the "calming" approach to denstistry that all of Mitchells staff provide that makes them the "Best" too. Weither its scheduling my appointment on the phone or sitting in their waiting room, their "family oriented" atmosphere always lowers my stress levels tremendously before I sit down in the dental chair for my cleaning s, X-rays or fillings. .I highly recommend them - I highly recommend them . I have been going to this practice for 20 years or so. I would recommend them to anyone. My kids particularly arent frightened to go to their check ups. My son recently had an incident where he had to get his front teeth bonded. Dr. Joe and his assistant made Braden defeat his anxiety. Rebecca is always so friendly right as we enter the building. Sonya always works with me regarding all charges. April is amazing always..kid friendly..Mommy and Daddy friendly as well. I could go on and on positively. We love Mitchell Dentistry!
