For Dr. Bo I would give him 3 stars...There have been times where he was hesitant to make a diagnosis even after the test results had come in...Saying, "well it could be this or it could be that" When you go to the vet and they run their tests, you kind of expect a decisive answer. The first time I went there, he must have been having a bad day because he stabbed our dog with the needle so viciously that he howled in pain. I almost grabbed my dog and left. But I held back...We have 6 older dogs and 3 cats. And since we started going there we have spent thousands of dollars in the year or so we have been going there. And there has never been a repeat of any mistreatment to any of our pets since.... Now as to the Nazi Office worker Michelle I give her no stars...She is rude, rude and more rude. I went in 2 days in a row with my Toy Pom and both days Michelle was barking her orders at me...Telling me what to do like she is my boss. And the 2nd day she even refused to allow me to take my dog back to the back for surgery so that I could speak with Dr. Bo. After that, I left word for Dr. Bo to keep her away from us and to tell her to never speak to us again. But that did no good... The prices when we started going there were affordable...But their prices have increased and without any customer notification...Their office visit charge is now $40 but use to be $35. A few months back ago Dr. Bo was on vaca and he had a substitute vet filling in...She was as slow as Christmas. I had taken 1 of our dogs in and came out with a bill for $600. We was charged by Michelle the Nazi $29 for an assessment and another $19 for he exam...I never knew you had to pay for an exam and then pay to hear the opinion of the exam. I even told the sub vet that we didnt need a certain anti-biotic because we had a bottle at the house...I didnt notice until I got home that they still added it to out bill and sent us home with another bottle of it. So it was painfully obvious that the Nazi had padded the bill. So we are actively looking for a new vet.

Not kidding at all when I say that I would trust Dr. Bo with my own health care before any other human doc that I have met lately. I have three dogs that are like my children, one is a senior and there have been a few times lately when something has been wrong but nothing has made sense. Dr Bo will research the problem until he finds the most likely answer - tries the least drastic fix first and makes my old furr baby better again. He is wonderful, his only problem is that there are not two or three of him. The staff is wonderful - they all care very much for not only our pets but for us as pet parents too.

Our Pekingnese mix had a complex eye issue and Dr. Bergloff directed my husband to a specialist in Tallahassee. After several treatment options there failed, Dr. Bergloff removed the eye and our Buddy is recuperating very well. Dr. Bergloff and his staff took such wonderful care of Buddy during this time. We trust all of our pets to North Bay Animal Hospital.

The Staff at North Bay Animal Hospital REALLY care about the pets that come through their doors. My Doberman had a minor surgery and Dr. Bo really showed that he cared.
