I couldnt dream of taking any of my cats to a better clinic. Dr. Petrovich is absolutely amazing with cats (and, Im sure, with other animals as well) and she goes above and beyond the call of duty outside of her life at the clinic too -- founding and operating the wonderful local cat shelters Crashs Landing and Big Sids Sanctuary. She is so incredibly knowledgeable and such a fantastic person all around. Always able to find out what is wrong with cats, even when other vets fail to diagnose issues. I have a cat who has always been very shy, though sweet, and I had brought her around to find out why she had such inflamed gums for much of her life ... they always wanted expensive blood tests for diseases and things done that seemed entirely gratuitous, and I eventually ended up bringing her to Dr. Petrovich, a vet I knew wouldnt try to make a quick dime off of me, and with all of her experience she knew what it was right away. In short, odd though it may be, my cat was allergic to her own teeth! We had them extracted and she flourished. She is so much more confident, happy and outgoing now - no issues at all. I will ALWAYS go back to Clyde Park clinic for the quality, gentle, wonderful care that I know that my cats deserve. A+++

I will be a lifelong, loyal customer of this office. My two pups struggled with health problems for over a year (Im talking sick all the time, surgeries, and trying almost every suggestion that came our way). Clyde Park is literally the first office that made any long term, significant solutions for my doggies. Now they are doing better then ever! I see Dr. Thompson and he is so friendly and honest with me. I really appreciate his demeanor and kind energy to me and my pups. He has never lead me on and was always straight forward with me, plus one of my dogs is shy and warmed up to Dr. Thompson so quickly! I also think the office in general has been so kind to me. I have called them many times in a frenzy and they have been so reassuring and helpful. They always seem knowledgable and caring. They have been awesome at getting me in with appointments and being flexible with my schedule. I have never even had to wait when I get there! I am so appreciative of this office and I will always make the 30 minute commute to see them over anyone else.

My family (parents, two sisters, and myself) have been bringing our pets to this clinic for at least 20 years...we have ALWAYS been happy with the care our pets receive from Dr. Thompson and staff. There have been several occasions when Dr. Thompson has gone above and beyond to give our pets exceptional care...once even meeting us at the clinic after hours and spending a good portion of his night there when our dog developed complications after surgery. Dr. Thompson is kind, personable, and understanding. I really appreciate that he doesnt order expensive procedures/tests/medications for our pets until all other avenues are explored or he feels it is absolutely necessary...he explains all the options and which one he feels is best and why. I never feel that he is too busy to talk with me about concerns or questions I have. We are moving across town soon and Im sure there are a number of vet clinics much closer to our new home, but we will continue bringing our pets to Dr. Thompson at the Clyde Park clinic.

Great little clinic - We just started with Dr. Thompson, and we were very impressed with him, he was competent and knowledgeable, as well as friendly. Weve been to 2 other vet clinics in the Grand Rapids area, and every time we were guilted into purchasing unnecessary tests and treatments we cant afford. Dr. Thompson did not put any pressure on us, was very kind to our dogs and treated us with respect. We purchase heartworm meds online to save money, and were prepared to get a lecture about it, but Dr. Thompson was completely understanding. Their prices arent that great, but are no more costly than other clinics in the area. Im relieved that weve finally found a place where we can be comfortable taking our animals. The clinic provides quality care without going over the top. I would highly recommend him.

After being a patient here for 5 years my now elderly dog needs pain management. The office manager was very rude and condescending. After telling her Im disabled and dont get paid for 7 more days she yelled at me and said not to give him anymore buffered aspirin but give Tylenol and if I cant afford to buy it then give him nothing. Hes my service dog and can barely move a lot of days! I just said thank you for your "help" and 8 days later I got a letter of dismissal from the practice!! I had been very pleasant with this idiot until the end when I said "help". I cant get through to the owner as she goes thru his mail. Now my senior boy has to start somewhere new! Outrageous!!!

Dr Jen and staff have the biggest hearts and I am honored to be able to call Clyde Park Veterinary Clinic my vet! They are caring and so quick to respond to my crazy, over zealous cat mom questions, and they are experts at understanding the underlying causes of different ailments causing faster healing times and happier pets! Thank you so much to the entire team for really living up to the patient care that each of our favorite furry friends deserves!!!!! ❤️

Dr. Jen and the staff at Clyde Park are the best. There have been many situations where I am worried about Paddington and they do their best to answer my questions and get him in for a visit if needed. It is wonderful to have such a great vet - our dog doesnt mind visits at all! Stephen and I cant recommend Clyde Park enough!

Very nice staff, theyre always very helpful and they dont make you feel dumb for asking questions. They treat both my cat and my dog very well when we go. This is their new vet now.
