Take my 10 week old boxer to Animal Care Center for required 10/12 week shots Sept. 2016 & on his 12 week shot they give him a Heartworm pill (trifexis) that night & next morning he was very sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, & Urinary TI. I call & they say bring him back in. Great right? Vet says after test that the diarrhea & vomiting is probably from the meds they gave him. I say ok thank you & check out. $150 to $200 is my charges for visit & meds to make him better from the meds they gave him the previous day also costing $150-$200. Im a reasonable guy and worked in management for 20 years & owned my own business for 4 years so I know very well how some customers will complain about small stuff just trying to get things from you so I dont say a word or complain about having to pay almost $400 in 2 days of Vet visits half of which their meds caused him to get sick. Paid $28 for that pill also. No problem! I understand dogs can have bad reactions to meds like humans. No complaint! Fast forward to June 27 2017 his 1 year Heartworm test they recommend have done. Negative no issues. Staff recommends 6 month supply of Trifexis for Heart & flea protection even tho my dog is an inside dog thats never around other dogs but staff explain that mosquitoes can infect him & Trifexis protects him. Ok thank you I will start giving it to him. Guess what...same thing happens! He gets very sick again with same symptoms. I call & explain this is second time my dog has gotten sick the next day from them. But again Im resonable and just asking for their help in which the front desk employee says its probably from the Trifexis because thats all they gave him yesterday so they give me appt options & i replied Ill wait & see today if he feels better. Employee says ok but I will have to pay an Urgent care appt if after 5 so I take him to a 4:30 appt & they do a brief exam for $45 give him a $66 shot for Nausea & other meds. Checking out the front desk employee says its $254.30! Ok wait! What am I paying for? $45 Brief Exam, $66.70 Injection for Nausea, $43.98 for A jelly like substance for Nausea as well. And $228 for Heartworm & flea protection meds to replace Trifexis. You might think my math is off at this point but they were kind enough to give me a credit of $126.87 for 5 Trifexis pills I brought back from yesterday! Thats right 5! So after reiterating to the employee that this is the second time Animal Care Center has got my dog sick giving the same meds as the first time & that i paid the last visit to correct his illness no problem and did not say one word or complain that time now i have a problem with being asked to pay over $200 dollars again to get him well for their mistakes. I ask her will the Vet at least waive his $45 dollar exam fee. Answer was no! Ok well give me a break down of what im paying for today. Guess what...I get $126.87 credit for the 5 month supply of Trifexis i brought back. Ok wait! Youre still gonna charge me for the Trifexis pill that got him sick a second time??? Well sir you used 1 pill of the Trifexis was her response! Seriously??? It got my dog very sick a second time now. So I ask to speak to a manager about charging me for Trifexis her staff recomended and guess what same reply! Sorry we wont credit you for the 1 trifexis pill you used yesterday that made your dog sick a second time! Wow! This place makes you pay to get your dog well after THEY get him sick with recommendations of meds! Not even a small gesture of waiving the doctor visit or the actual pill that made him sick a second time. Terrible business practices! I know this from experience from owning my own! When youre staff makes mistakes or a customer has a legitimate complaint then you do the right thing with your actions not words! So Dear Owner, Ive read your responses to the complaints here and actions mean more then your words of sorry. Do the right thing & take action with fair compensation And also train your staff how to KEEP customers. Repeat business keeps doors open!

NEVER BOARD YOUR PET HERE!!! I made reservations on the phone for 3 nights for 2 small dogs. I was talked into getting the "suite". I was told it was much quieter than the normal runs. I was told there was air conditioning in the kennels. I was told the dogs can go out to their outdoor run whenever they please. I was also told to bring all my doggie supplies (bowls, dog bedding, toys...) On arrival, I asked for a tour. I found out the Suites were no quieter than the normal runs. Dogs were barking constantly. The kennel staff said to me lets get out of here, they are barking because they want to go out. It was sweltering hot with all dogs panting (at least get some fans to blow the air around). The suite my dogs were put in had no door to go outside. And I was told not to leave any of my personal belongings because it will get lost. They told me they move the dogs from kennel to kennel and are not responsible for the items I brought. The "doggie doors" are only opened by the staff. Dogs cannot go in and out as they please. I returned 1 day to see my dogs and take them for a walk. Both had to go potty like thay had been holding it for who knows how long. I left enough dry food for 4 days. I was only boarding them for 3. After I left and opened the grocery bag, I noticed the food was not touched so Im not sure what my dogs were fed. I did leave 1 doggie bed. It was completely soiled and wet. They didnt have the decency to wash and return it to me. they just handed me a soiled bed. I had to ask for a plastic garbage bag to put the bedding in. The kennel staff seemed very out of sorts. On check out one of the kennel staff was just standing around the waiting room. A receptionist ask her if she as bored. She replied "Yes". She was told to go find something to do. I can see why she was hanging out it the waiting room. The boarding area is HOT and NO AIR CONDITIONING. Ive got an idea, if you are bored, and this is your job, go take care of the animals that are staying there. They are in an unfamiliar place so make them feel as comfortable as possible. I will never return to the Animal Care Clinic again for any services. I was not felt welcome there and I feel as if my dogs were not watched, walked, fed, and cared for as they and any pet should be. I was also mis-lead on the facility and what they offerred. SHAME ON YOU ANIMAL CARE CENTER!!

THE WORST VET I have ever been to. BOARDING: We boarded our dogs for a trip. They were supposed to put our little (3lb) dog in with our larger (40lb) dog. They have boarded these dogs many times and every time have messed something up. This time they put my poor little Chihuahua in a LARGE run all by herself for over a week then charged us for it. My dogs always come back very thin, too. My bulldog lost 4 lbs in a week and a half while kenneled there. Also, the front desk girls like to walk around with my Chihuahua when she is there. Although I would prefer this to being a cage alone, I board my chichi and bulldog together so that they are not alone. They are best friends and they are leaving my bully alone by playing with my chichi all day. PRICES: You will pay through the nose. We asked for a price for spaying my bulldog and boarding her for a few days. $600+ was the amount. I picked her up and they hit me for DOUBLE! My husband and I always hate going there b/c it is $500 each time like clock work. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The front desk is one of most incompetent groups of women you will ever meet. We have been going there for over 2 yrs and they still misspell my dogs names, lose our phone numbers, and get my dogs vaccination schedules wrong. They are VERY slow. I came to pick up my dog and they made a call and started talking about their dates. 20 minutes later I had to be irate with them to get my dog back. The girls take forever to do anything and are constantly messing things up. Its almost a joke around the animal clinic. But, it isnt funny when a check-ip is $400 and you are there for 3 hours. -- I could write for days about how bad this place is. The vets themselves are quite good. But, you will pay for them in about double the prices and a lot of time and frustration. I moved my dogs. I just had all 3 checked out and vaccinated for $377. The appointment took about 50 minutes for all 3 dogs. What a difference! I think that visit at Animal Care Center would have set me back about $800-$1k and 3 hours of my life.
