Just had my first visit. Staff seems efficent and friendly. Dr. came in promptly and took a biopsy. So now must wait for the results to come in. One suggestion I would like to make and that is to please make the waiting room a little cooler. Several patients agreed with me that it was too warm. ..................................................................................................................THIS IS MY SECOND REVIEW AND YOU ARE MOST CERTAINLY NOT GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH IT. I CALLED YOUR OFFICE THIS MORNING NO LESS THAT 5 TIMES TRYING TO SPEAK TO THE NURSE, DIANA. I HAD A BIOPSY A FEW DAYS AGO BY DR. CAMACHO WHO IS ATTEMPTING TO DETERMINE WHAT IS CAUSING SEVERE HEAT AND INFLAMATION ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY FACE. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM I HAVE NOW HAD FOR SEVERAL WEEKS, AND I AM REALLY SUFFERING FROM THE EXTREME HEAT IN MY FACE, EAR, AND NECK ON THAT SIDE. MY PRIMARY DOCTOR , JEFFERY ROSEN, HAS REFERRED ME TO YOU. NOW I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE RESULTS OF THE BIOPSY WILL TAKE AN INCREDIBLE 2 WEEKS. THIS IS UNHEARD OF, AS MOST LABS SUPPLY RESULTS IN JUST A COUPLE OF DAYS. I HAVE NO IDEAL WHERE YOU SEND THE BIOPSY, BUT IT MUST BE "SOME FAR OF LAND". MEANWHILE, IF THERE IS SOMEWAY YOU CAN EXPEDITE THE LAB, I WILL BE VERY GREATFUL. IN ADDITION I WOULD LIKE TO SIGNUP FOR THE PATIENT PORTAL, SO THAT I CAN BETTER COMMUNICATE WITH DR. CAMACHO, WHICH I NOW HAVE BEEN TOLD IS IN YOUR OFFICE ONLY 2 DAYS A WEEK. SO, UNFORTUNATELY, THIS REVIEW IS NOT VERY NICE, AND I AM TRULY SORRY, BUT EVERY THING I HAVE SAID HERE IS FACTUAL. I DO HOPE THE PROPERLY PEOPLE IN YOUR OFFICE WILL READ THIS AND MAKE A TRUE EFFORT TO IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE.

Dr. Susana Leal-Khouri is a great dermatologist!! Ive been seeing her for the past 2 years. First she treated my ACNE with several topical lotions and a dose of antibiotics. I also suffer from MELASMA so I used her fading cream and retinol cream, which she personally mixes in the lab. They are very potent! Better than anything else Ive tried. I liked them so much that I purchased them for my mom in California! I had been suffering with adult acne for almost 10 years and my skin had the scars to prove it. So Dr. Khouri suggested treating my ACNE SCARS with the FRAXEL laser. I did three sessions and saw a great improvement. My friends are finally telling me how great my skin looks!!! Finally I decided to try BOTOX injections! I am 34 years old and wrinkles are starting to creep up. Because I have been an ongoing patient I developed full confidence in Dr. Khouri. I wouldnt trust just anybody to perform this procedure. It was fast & practically painless. The results are amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Khouri. I will continue to see her for all my cosmetic and dermatology needs. Her staff has always been very helpful too!

So I called Miami Dermatology Center and asked if I wanted to come in and get a mole removed would that be something I could have done there, and the receptionist said yes of course. So I made an appointment and went in. I was called into a room was in there no more than five minutes, that includes waiting for the doctor and his "examination". He literally looked at me and said they dont look cancerous you need a plastic surgeon. Well I knew they werent cancerous, that wasnt what I went there for. So on top of losing money at work because I left early for this appointment, they tried to charge me a $70 copay. Why are you charging me when you did nothing, and I was totally mislead being told that they provided a service that clearly they dont, and to top it off theyve sent me about five emails to post a review for them even offered a Starbucks gift card. Really? This company should be ashamed of themselves, and I will be disputing with my insurance company as well as creditors. They will not get my money. DO NOT USE THEM!

Me senti muy complacida con el buen trato, la amabilidad y el cariño del personal que me atendio y me dio las explicaciones pertinentes. Me agrado mucho la instalacion, con mucho orden y limpieza. Esta semana fue mi primera visita al Centro. Mi tiempo en el salón de espera resultó muy breve; no más de 10 minutos. Mi cita era con la Dra. Mae Gutiérrez, quien me atendió cortésmente y me orientó un tratamiento para una mancha que se me produce en la cara. También me explicó acerca de otro tratamiento facial que sería adecuado para mi piel, una vez que se resuelva el problema de la mancha. Quedé muy satisfecha con esta consulta.

What a pleasant experience! From the warm reception at the front desk to the professional and charming medical assistant Cari Palma. Miami Dermatology Center is a perfect place for treatment. Dr. Mae Gutierrez is amazing; I trust her knowledge and judgment. I feel confident that I am seeing someone who knows the latest developments in the field and who will advise me with my best interests in mind. If I have any concern or question, I will get a prompt and forthright response. I have never felt rushed. In fact, going to her office is quite a relaxing. Her staff members go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Overall, Dr. Mae Gutierrez is someone who cares about her patients first and foremost. I am thrilled with how I look! Both my friend and I were amazed with the immediate transformation of my face. Dr. Susana Leal Khouri is very knowledgeable, easy to talk with, asks your opinion, presents options, and the expertly performs what is needed. I really appreciated the time and attention that she gave me. Dr. Khouri inspired so much confidence during my consultation that I asked if she could accommodate me that day. I left her office looking significantly younger without looking artificial. She also prescribed a medication that made a persistent rash disappear -- a rash that had been seen by three previous dermatologists. She is definitely the best dermatologist who I have ever seen. I highly recommend her.

It is always a pleasure to visit Dr. Susana. The receptionist greats all patients with a welcome smile and helpful with any questions. The assesing staff member is very thorough in reviewing medical history and and any new dermatological assestment. Once Dr. Leal and assistant comes into the examing room a friendly and professional exchange always takes place. Dr. Leal is very meticulous on her exams and gives a clear explanation of what has to be done. It indeed a great pleasure for the patient to be treated in just a professional and friendly matter. Folow up appointments are very easy to schedule, emails and or text messages are sent for remienders and confirmations.

Es un magnifico lugar para atenderse cualquier problema de la piel. Yo particularmente me veo con el Dr. Ivan Camacho desde hace mucho tiempo, es un excelente profesional y muy conocedor de su materia. Ademas, cada año llevo a mi esposa e hija a revisarse la piel y asi poder atender a tiempo cualquier anomalia que presenten.
