What do you have in life if you do not have your health? All the money and success means nothing if youre not around to enjoy it. I work in the hospitality industry. My day to day is fast paced and stressful. The days, weeks, months and years have a tendency to fly by. For a long time I really didnt pay much attention to my health, went to see a Doctor when I needed to but was never proactive about staying in tune with what was going on with my body. In 2013, things finally caught up to me. Found myself tired, lethargic and lacking the energy I had just a year or two earlier. My regular physician was located in Palm Beach. This of course was not convenient as I currently reside in Miami. When I told him what was going on he informed me that my blood pressure and cholesterol were both off the charts and he was going to put me on blood pressure medication and statins to get it under control. He really didnt offer me any other solutions. At the time my relationship with Dr. Steven Schnur was only as a client at the restaurants I run on Miami Beach. After my diagnosis, I knew I had to make some changes so I gave Dr Schnur a call and told him what was going on. Within a few days I made my first visit to Elite Health. Let me start by saying that having Dr Schnur and his team take care of you is like having your own personal army of specialists overseeing your well being. Everything is right there in the office at Mount Sinai. Lab results are quick, if you need an x ray, ultra sound, stress test, nutritional evaluation etc all right there in the same office. Coordinated care! Its the antithesis of the current state of our health care system. All the bureaucratic red tape is eliminated. After my diagnosis, Dr Schnur and his team came up with a whole health plan for me. I started the Elite Fit diet plan along with a series of strategically determined vitamin supplements geared toward addressing deficiencies in my blood work. Eric, the nutritionist created a custom exercise program and personally monitored and followed up on my progress with both the diet and exercise regiments. I still get random messages from Eric just checking up on me to see how things are going. While it was determined that medications might be necessary in the short run to control some of my conditions the goal would be to make lifestyle changes that would inevitably reduce or eliminate the need for both those medications and supplements. Within six months I had lost 30lbs, my blood pressure normalized, cholesterol and all of my blood work were within normal ranges. I am currently on a maintenance program and have learned how to eat clean. I see the Doctor regularly to continue to monitor my progress. Its hard to describe the sense of comfort that one gets knowing that no matter what issue you may encounter health wise you have a team in your corner to guide you. You cant put a price tag on that. All of the people in the office are great and incredibly hospitable. They treat you as if you are part of the family. To Vivian, Candice, Ali, Adam and all of the associates and techs at Elite Health you guys are amazing. Keep up the great work! Thank you Elite Health! So happy to have you on my team!!

Dishonest and sub-standard Horrible! My primary care physician retired. I made an appointment a week in advance with Dr. Steven A. Schnur for a Monday. A few days after making the appointment someone called me and said that Dr. Schnur would not be in that Monday. Could I see him on Tuesday? I agreed. Turns out that Tuesday was the day that a more junior physician was in the office and rather than Schnur I was pawned off on Dr. Carlos Levy. That was no big deal but the process was DISHONEST! I should have walked out of the office. I did not. So I saw Levy. Very nice - not terribly sharp. A few days later I needed a refill on Nexium prescribed by my retired physician. Over a week I requested it several times: twice on their web app and twice by email plus a phone call. Nothing. Finally when I was down to the last pill someone called me and informed me that the prescription could not be filled unless I saw one of their doctors - which I had done about ten days prior. This is a med that is available in lower strength over the counter. You would think that I was seeking morphine. It also turn out that Levy is the subject of several disciplinary actions and a number of public complaints. For a period of time he seems to have been the "prescription pad" for an Internet pill mill. None of the disciplinary actions are recent but I was denied the opportunity to make a choice. I sent emails to Elite requesting a call-back (OK, at this point demanding a call-back). Nothing, zip nada

Horrible, dangerous to your health and life. My experience is nothing but the nightmare. I did two tests there - thyroid ultra sound and radiology thyroid scan. I had to wait for 17 days to get the radiology report which had two different birthdays, two different dates of exam and wrong time of the exam. The finding contradicted ultra sound completely yet dr. Tania Velez did not pay attention to it. I insisted in numerous emails to get correct test result but my emails were mostly ignored by Dr Velez and office manager Vivian Baldizon. Finaly, after two months, Vivian promised to copy the CD and give it to the third party Radiologist. The result was contradicting to both previous results showing everything as normal. When I finally visited Endocrinologist who looked at the Ultrasound CD - there was exasperation and disbelief with what was going on. The Ultrasound finding was also wrong. Endocrinologist said that was not the first time that this happens with tests from Elite health. It is now 3 months since the original radiology scan and I still dont have the correct test result. Dr Velez shows no interest in this issue and the well being of her patient. Vivian Baldizon only answers (emails) irrelevant questions from my real issue. She obviously is hiding some serious wrongdoing. This place is extremely unprofessional and dangerous to your health. Tests done in any auto mechanic shop are more professional and this is supposed to be some medical establishment

The concept behind Elite Heath is great but the execution is less than desirable, in fact if you rely on them for health needs, youll have to rely on your own tenacity to get results. If you dont have a medical background, it could be dangerous. They dont answer calls, they dont follow up, they loose exams, blood work goes bad because of their lack of follow up with the labs, you have to constantly call them to update your records online and they still do not, they have a call center in Dominican Republic which does not understand the US system nor does it follow up. It is an express system, expect to only be booked for 15 minutes with your doctor. It is a shame because of such a great concept but such horrible execution of the concept.
